SISTER TIME! Hello everyone – Cathie Allan here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Time with those you love is so very precious. The very cool thing about scrapbooking is when we create those memories we can “keep them forever” in a visual form that we get to enjoy the rest of our lives. We DO NOT have to rely on our “less than perfect” memory. PLUS we have the shear joy of living that memory repeatedly not only as we create but every time we take them out to reminisce. My two beautiful daughters were recently together in Mexico for some very special “sister time”. Let There Be Projects, Lots & Lots of Projects – by Cathie Allan The past two classes that I have been teaching for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine incorporate some of my newest and “of course” most favorite techniques … why, because I get to use stamps/stencils and ink, of course and because “they are my newest” and new is always captivating. These techniques are so “multicraftable” that I have been non stop, creating projects using the ideas that I shared in those classes since I made the originals. A huge part of the joy of sharing new ideas is when someone in the class looks at me with “eyes wide open with inky possibility” as they realize just how beautifully easy stamping and “smearing ink” can be.
