Β Youβre amazing. And do you know why? Because you made 20 cards in one night. Not only that – they are stunning.Β You just earned yourself a gold star. All you have to do, is get your hands on the Watercolour Wishes card kit from Stampinβ Up! Β #watercolourwishesforthewin This kit comes with everything you need β the stamps, the ink, the washi, sequins, wood veneers β even the adhesive and envelopes are included in this swell looking kraft coloured box. The instructions are included in the box as well. Of course, I didnβt do exactly as the instructions noted β I changed the sentiment and added a sequin or two.Β I made some slight variations but I certainly didnβt sway from the delightful style. Five cards. I swooned over each one after I made them. Another five cards. The skinny navy and white striped washi.Β I couldnβt get enough.…
SUCH A HANDSOME βDEXTERβ PUPPY! By Cathie Allan Here is a quick and fun layout using some βtimeless stamping toolsβ.Β I kept the steps for this βaltered scrapbook layoutβ simple and fast. After stamping the βLine Backgroundβ stamp from Frogβs Whiskers Ink several times on our Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock (my favorite cardstock for my projects) in Clearsnap ColorBox Blackbird, Fluid Chalk ink I added super quick coloring with my Tombow pens. Quess what? I have been stamping a long, long time and my Tombow pens are years old and still are full of ink and ready to go. The capping system is so good on these particular pens that you will get every bit of ink out of them so long as you put the caps back on. I love this! I did not do any βfancy coloringβ I just added color. After that I used my Clearsnap ColorBox…
Hello Everyone!Β I have been having a lot of fun lately with the new Tim Holtz Distress Crayons from Ranger. You might know that I’ve been slightly obsessed with watercolour and creating watercolour effects with different products.Β So I used the Distress Crayons to design this Mother’s Day card. Here are the Tim Holtz (Ranger) supplies I started with to create the stamped flowers: Distress Watercolor Cardstock, Waterbrush, Collage Brush, Distress Collage Medium, the Distress Crayon (Seedless Preserves). I brushed the Distress Collage Medium on the Distress Watercolor paper using the Collage Brush.Β Just remember to clean your brush well right after and don’t let the medium dry on it. Let the medium on the paper dry completely and then scribble some distress crayon colour onto it. Why did I add the medium first? I find the Distress Crayons move better and dissolve into a watercolour more easily, but…
βWhat a beautiful blessing you are to me.β It was perfect.Β This saying says it all.Β In eight simple words. I am blessed to have two beautiful women in my life that I can call my mother. My mom and my mother-in-law are beautiful humans that consistently look to the positive.Β They are rocks under pressure. No matter what problem I bring to them, they make life seem like lollipops and rainbows. They find the answer.Β They know how to make that pit in your tummy float away. Somehow these two ladies were raised to put one foot in front of the other and survive by looking at their glass half full. I wanted to make them a card that was as beautiful as they are. But I had limited supplies and I had limited creativity. When I have a creativity block, I find it easiest to play…

Hello everyone – Kerry Engel here – Iβm late to the Tim Holtz Crazy Bird game. Now Iβm slightly addicted. I created a flock of birds and then used them on a variety of project. Itβs handy to have a pile of them ready and waiting to add to your projects. Tack one on a card or create a wall hanging like I did. I even have three adhered to a lamp in my studio. How to make a flock: 1. Stamp the birds on Creative Scrapbooker Superstock (or a very sturdy cardstock) with a permanent waterproof black ink. 2. Spread Top Boss Clear Embossing Fluid over the image by pressing the ink pad over the image. Covering your image with Top Boss makes the colored ink blend more smoothly. 3. Apply ink from ColorBox Blends and ColorBox ink. Blend with the Smooch tip. Leave white space to create highlight.…
