Here is my take on May Sketchy Challenge. Β Aren’t these Bo Bunny papers adorable? Β This collection is called “Happy Tails”. Β When I saw them I knew I had to make a scrapbook layout of our new puppy Finnigan! To create that background of red hearts, I designed a stencil with my Brotherβ’ ScanNCut machine. I also designed the “Puppy Love” title with the ScanNCutΒ and Core’dinations Colorcore Cardstock. If you’d like to watch another video that shows how I created the stencil heart background, click HERE to visit my blog. Β On my blog I also have the free cutting file of this…

Sizzix Frameworks Lattice Die Also featuring Garden Tool Sizzlits, Lil MonstersΒ by Bo Bunny and Xyron Have you seen the new Frameworks dies from Sizzix?Β Β Designed by Tim Holtz, they were just released last month in five fabulous patterns.Β I am especially excited that they are the thick steel rule dies, meaning that in addition to cutting through paper, Β they can also easily cut through all fabric, foam, felt, wood veneer and other non-paper items, giving the frugal or mixed media scrapbooker lots of flexibility! Β Β And you can use the framework die cut itself, or the pieces cut out of the framework die (like the diamonds or hexagons) to mix and match. The Lattice Frameworks remindedΒ of gardening, so I thought I would combine it with the Garden Tools Sizzlits that I had in my stash. I cut the tools out of a scrap piece of cardstock and then used…
Hello everyone! Β It’s Kelly here, and today I’m going to share a fun embellishment you can make for your scrapbook layouts or cards. For my newest Double the Fun sketch, I created this layout, celebrating my son’s Graduation: See those shiny silver stars? Β They are made using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam shapes: 3D Foam Stars and Clearsnap foils! Β In the package, the 3D Foam Stars are nesting, so you get an assortment of sizes. Here is a quick photo tutorial of how you can make your own shiny stars! Designer Foil from Clearsnap will help you make your stars silver. First, remove one of the star outlines from the sheet and place on any patterned paper. I used BoBunny’s Woodland Winter collection. Remove the adhesive backing from the 3D Foam Star and then press the Clearsnap Designer Foil directly on top. Β You don’t have to rub, just press…

Hello everyone from Kim Gowdy! Here is a quick post here to highlight to lovely Pincushion paper line by Bo Bunny. For this layout I used four different patterned papers from their collection as well as the chipboard die cuts and stickers. It was the perfect paper to use for this layout of my Mom; an avid quilter! The overlay of the sewing tools was cut using the new Brother ScanNCut. This is not an image in the library of the cutting machine. I found this free SVG file on line and used the free online, Canvas software to upload and convert to a file the ScanNCut could use. The whole process was quite simple. I embossed the overlay with a rough, weathered type of embossing powder [I forget who makes it as I dump my embossing powders into plastic containers for ease of use]. For a fun touch I…
