Hi there, Connie Nichol here today with a couple of projects featuring the new Celebrate die from Elizabeth Craft DesignsΒ and designed by Suzanne Cannon.Β This die is part of the ‘Way with Words’ series and the word ‘Celebrate’ works beautifully for both scrapbooking and card making. Here’s a scrapbook page featuring the Celebrate die and flourish and exclamation point from the Calligraphic Elements 1 die set. Β I love being able to add flourishes at will. Β The calligraphic elements 1 also include a beautiful heart. Β It’s a very handy set. Β Β The scrapbook page background is a piece of Stampin Up paper from my stash that had the most beautiful and subtle clear embossed musical design. Β I used a Happy Birthday stamp from Quietfire Design to add just a little bit to the patterned paper with some Colorbox brown chalk ink. The shimmery squares on the scrapbook page are pink and…

Hello again! Itβs Kim here with my take on the February Sketch designed by Kelly Klapstein. I was inspired to rotate the sketch as shown and from there just started to play until I felt I was done! I love how it turned out, though my husband doesnβt see any similarity to the sketchβ¦LOL! The papers and embellishments are from Bo Bunnyβs Believe collection. I was hesitant at first to get this collection of papers, as I wasn’t sure if the theme would work for my style of scrapbooking. Β Once I opened up the papers, stickers and die cuts I was pleased to find LOTS that I was comfortable working withβ¦I love the colours and whimsy so much. The products that donβt βworkβ for me will easily be altered and adapted for my needs.Β So many inspirational sayings and thoughts, I can’t wait to play with this paper collection again. I…

Happy New Year! Christy Riopel here today with Tuesday with The Team! The new year always brings resolutions and every year I resolve to Scrapbook more. To βcatch up. This year I am trying something a little different. From all my reading I have learned that the key to being successful at any goal is to be specific and reasonable with your goals. So this year I am resolving to make one page a month from a photo I took recently. I think one page a month is a reasonable and attainable goal. This page is the first of my pages. Pictures from this Christmas. It’s a simple page made from Core’dinations ColourCore cardstock, Elizabeth Craft Designs dies, Clearsnap ink and stencils, Pico Embelisher and Β Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. To create my background I layer my cardstock over top of my stencil and sanded in different areas. Now I…
