Looking for the perfect stamp set to bring some festive fun to your next card project? Look no further than the Aloe Amigo Stamps from Avery Elle! This adorable set features a playful cactus sporting a sombrero, complete with fun sentiments like “Fiesta Time” and “I’m Stuck on You.” Whether you’re making a birthday card, a thank-you note, or just something to brighten someone’s day, these stamps add a touch of whimsy and charm. Designer Yainea has crafted a stunning card using the Aloe Amigo Stamps along with the coordinating dies to create a dimensional look. The coordinating Aloe Amigo Dies make cutting out the elements a breeze, allowing for precision and clean edges. Are you someone that makes all the Halloween treat bags? Perhaps you are the co-worker that brings treats for the adults in your office or the awesome mom that brings the coolest treats for all the Brownies? Sometimes I am and sometimes I am not. It always depends on how much time I have. This year Stampin’ Up! is making it pretty easy for me (and you) to bang out several of these treats in plenty of time before Halloween. Check out these coffin boxes by Stampin’ Up! I mean… how fun are these? To create my Halloween coffins, I had limited product to use. Using elements from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper for the inside and outside of the coffin, I was able to make the coffins come to life. However, once the treats are inside the box you need to hold the coffin together with some trims…

Hi everyone!  Pam here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Blog sharing my a few simple but fun pre-made party favor boxes! I am sure that everyone will have a party to either host or attend this year! Pre-made plain party favor boxes can be found just about anywhere…at your local craft store, department store, discount store, etc and in many different shapes and sizes.  They are super easy to emboss using your favorite white embossing powder and colored with your favorite colored inks along with your favorite stamps! (I used Colorbox products to create my boxes.) Stamp background images on premade boxes using Clear Embossing Ink. Apply White Embossing Powder; heat set with an embossing gun.  Apply ColorBox Blends 2 Tutu Ink to one of the embossed boxes and ColorBox Blends 2 Bay Ink to the other using the blending tool.  (HINT: Leave boxes flat when doing this step.)…

It’s that time of year. You’ve got to do your Christmas Cards. I am here to tell you: Don’t be ambitious.  Be realistic. You need a card that is a) beautiful b) quick and c) has a wow factor. That’s this card. Say hello to… Well. Simply – one glittery bulb using Stampin’ Up! products. You can make these in bulk quickly. Step one: Stamp using versamark your image onto watercolour paper.  I chose this delightful Stampin’ Up! Happy Ornament stamp set. Heat emboss using black embossing powder. I usually do this in batches of 10. Step two: Watercolour using your Stampin’ Write markers and an aqua painter.  See last months Creative Scrapbooker Magazine post on how to do this.  Let air dry or use a heat gun. Step Three: It’s concoction time.  To achieve this “glittery bulb” look, I took a piece of transparency and poured some Crystal…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a layout featuring Momenta cardstock and Art-C texture cream.  My youngest played team handball at school this past year and I wanted to scrapbook the photographs the school took of the team. I started with a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock and applied Art-C silver texture cream through an Art-C plastic stencil on both sides of the page. Don’t be shy, just smear that texture cream with a palette knife or an old credit card generously through the stencil.  It’s easy to do and just adds such a neat touchable texture to your page. Let dry.  It doesn’t take long.  I then took a couple of pieces of Momenta cardstock and layered them in the middle of the page.  If you have not used this brand of cardstock, you need to go check it out.  It’s heavy and beautifully textured and a pleasure…

Today on the blog we welcome Katelyn Grosart Hi Everyone! I’m Katelyn Grosart and I live in beautiful Calgary, Alberta with my boyfriend of 6 years.  I’ve spent the last 7 years in the papercrafting world  creating cards, mixed media pages, scrapbook layouts, mini albums and altered items. In my spare time when I’m not crafting I like to read a good book and when the weather is nice, you’ll often find me outside taking advantage of the beautiful Canadian weather. I’m excited to be a guest blogger today for the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. The wonderful ladies at the magazine asked if I wanted to guest blog for them and I couldn’t pass up this amazing opportunity.  With summer right around the corner I thought that I would share with you how to create your own under the sea themed reverse canvas featuring Graphic 45’s “Voyage Beneath the Sea”…
