Kim here with a cute card share before I drop it in the mail! Itβs no secret among our team that I love Heartfelt Creations Under the Sea collection! The colours, the stamps and dies speak to my love of all things ocean. Hereβs a quick card I put together for my Auntβs upcoming birthday using patterned paper and dies from the collection and some Core’dinations cardstock. So many different products were used to pull the card together, let me share them in a few detail shots. I have used Clearsnapβs Smooch and Top Boss to add colour and a bit more depth Β to the flower. Jackie showed you this technique recently in a CSMΒ Live on Facebook (Oct. 12/2016). I couldnβtβ resist adding some Ranger Stickles to the Seahorse and fish fins for some added sparkle and iridescence. And one of my favourite things to add to my projects latelyβ¦irRESISTable…
Hello! Kim here! Just a quick share of my layout inspired by the November Sketchy Challenge! When I first saw the sketch designed by Kelly Klapstein, I instinctively thought of columns of journaling! Itβs very simple, but I LOVE how it turned out! I designed the text columns in Photoshop Elements 14, printed on a piece of 12×12 cardstock and then added my pictures, paper and embellishments! Supplies used: Stampinβ Up cardstock, Day to Day stamps, ink & markerΒ /Β Graphic 45 patterned paper from Enchanted Forest collectionΒ /Β Simple Stories Life in Color wooden veneersΒ /Β Scrapbook Adhesives by 3LΒ /Β American Crafts Thickers When was the last time you used our Sketchy Challenge? Itβs such a great place to start the creative process. Of course weβd LOVE for you to also share to our Sketchy Gallery, to inspire others! Be sure to get your copy of the Fall…
Happy Tuesday! Kim here with this weekβs Tuesday with the Team! Are you getting used to dark nights yet? Not me! I apologize in advance with the light in my pictures, my house was so dark and gloomy on Sunday, plus it was rainy so I couldnβt even go outside! So with shorter days, comes the knowledge that Christmas is not far away. I am the worldβs worst procrastinator when it comes to Christmas cardsβ¦so I thought Iβd get a head start with this projectβ¦or at least get on track! I had so much fun with Stampinβ Upβs Birthday Fiesta and Fa-la-la-la Friends stamp sets and their matching dies! Cards and gift bags were simply made with basic stamping, die cutting and layering. I coloured the images with my Stampinβ Up markersβ¦I have had them for a long time and they continue to be βjuicyβ and work so well. Definitely…
Reliable and easy to use! Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L are the silent βsuperheroesβ behind the scenes of your paper crafts, mixed-media, home dΓ©cor and D.I.Y. projects. A beautiful project is only as beautiful as what keeps it together today and for years to come. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L meets your creative needs with repositionable & permanent adhesives and everything in between. My favourite take along to any retreat would be the Adhesives Value Pack; no more bugging your table partner for the perfect adhesive! Hello! Kim here with a cute, quick all-occasion card. I like making all-occasion cards because itβs simple to pull out and use for whatever event requires a card. I can always stamp a sentiment on the inside at a later date, as needed. For this card I used one stamp! This adorable flower cluster from Impression Obsession. I love it! I also used Susan Weckesser βcolor POP miniβ inks fromΒ Clearsnap. One stamp, three inks! The base of my card is done by stamping a diagonal floral line. I stamped the ink off twice before using the third impression. This gave me a very nice gray, recessed background. On a scrap piece of CSM Super Stock I stamped three images in black ink. I pressed my coloured ink pads down on a non-stick surface and used the ink plus water brush to colour the images. I βfussy cutβ my flowers and…
Hi! Kim here with another Sketchy Challenge completed! I am all caught up and readyΒ for the August reveal! Here is the July Sketchy Challenge that inspired my layout! I chose to rotate it and work vertical! All patterned papers are from Close To My Heartβs [CTMH] Georgie Workshop to go. I have also used cardstock and ink from CTMHβs product line, everything plays so nice together when it comes from the same company! Several adhesives from Scrapbooking Adhesives by 3L keeps everything together. The following pictures are some close ups of some of the embellishments I cut using CTMHβs Artistry Cricut Cartridge. This is such an amazing cartridge of images, there is something for every possible occasion or event. It is one of my most used cartridges, followed closely by all of CTMHβs cartridges. For more inspiration, be sure to find yourself a CTMH consultant, their newest catalogue will…
