Reliable and easy to use! Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L are the silent “superheroes” behind the scenes of your paper crafts, mixed-media, home décor and D.I.Y. projects. A beautiful project is only as beautiful as what keeps it together today and for years to come. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L meets your creative needs with repositionable & permanent adhesives and everything in between. My favourite take along to any retreat would be the Adhesives Value Pack; no more bugging your table partner for the perfect adhesive! I am also convinced that no craft room is complete without the EZ Runner Grand Dispenser! 150 feet of double sided adhesive is the workhorse for me, that’s the equivalent to 3 regular tape runners! HELLO!!! ? Looking to add dimension to your projects? Try the 3D foam tape and/or shapes. The shapes are fantastic to use as decorative elements as well…just add glitter to the…

Hello! Kim here with a cute, quick all-occasion card. I like making all-occasion cards because it’s simple to pull out and use for whatever event requires a card. I can always stamp a sentiment on the inside at a later date, as needed. For this card I used one stamp! This adorable flower cluster from Impression Obsession. I love it! I also used Susan Weckesser “color POP mini” inks from Clearsnap. One stamp, three inks! The base of my card is done by stamping a diagonal floral line. I stamped the ink off twice before using the third impression. This gave me a very nice gray, recessed background. On a scrap piece of CSM Super Stock I stamped three images in black ink. I pressed my coloured ink pads down on a non-stick surface and used the ink plus water brush to colour the images. I “fussy cut” my flowers and…

Hi! Kim here with another Sketchy Challenge completed! I am all caught up and ready for the August reveal! Here is the July Sketchy Challenge that inspired my layout! I chose to rotate it and work vertical! All patterned papers are from Close To My Heart’s [CTMH] Georgie Workshop to go. I have also used cardstock and ink from CTMH’s product line, everything plays so nice together when it comes from the same company! Several adhesives from Scrapbooking Adhesives by 3L keeps everything together. The following pictures are some close ups of some of the embellishments I cut using CTMH’s Artistry Cricut Cartridge. This is such an amazing cartridge of images, there is something for every possible occasion or event. It is one of my most used cartridges, followed closely by all of CTMH’s cartridges. For more inspiration, be sure to find yourself a CTMH consultant, their newest catalogue will…

The “Sweet” Life By AJ Otto My favorite thing about scrapbooking is preserving the every day moments.  The stuff you wont remember in the years ahead, the current favorites, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. This picture of my daughter is a pretty accurate depiction her at this time, life seems to be all about the phone, her music, and *fingers crossed*, a hot chocolate from Starbucks time permitting.  With extra whip of course. 😉 I started with some splatters of the silk luster just to create a slight break in the white background. I tend to keep my scrapping style to less is more, focusing on the pictures, and hopefully documenting the current event. Luckily, the size of the Spellbinders dies used make scrapbooking with the Spellbinders Prizm die cutting machine entirely possible. I decided on the focal point being her picture, and wanted a small border to ground the…

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Kim gowdy here today! Just a quick blog post sharing my take on the May Sketch, designed by Kelly Klapstein. I used the awesome Coffee Talk collection from Heartfelt Creations to pull my layout together. I loved this collection form the first time I saw it, especially the stamps and dies! As always, I LOVE playing with these sketches…especially when I am in a creative funk! Other products used to complete my page: twine from May Arts Ribbon, India Ink from Clearsnap, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, older Stampin’ Up felt flowers & brads and unknown vellum. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. Be sure to find your way to our Sketchy Gallery to see lots more inspiration from this month’s sketch and all previous months. Hey everyone…Kim here, sharing my take on our April Sketch.  This month’s sketch is a very basic, graphic design that could be used over and over…and look different every time! I love that! My four square grid is a bit “lost” in the background, but if you look you’ll see it! I used products from Heartfelt Creation’s collection, “Italiana Riviera”. These papers, stamps and dies are stunning! They were so fun to play with. Check out this detail shot to see the layers. Some of the layers were made with the stamp, dies and Clearsnap Chalk inks. The other layers were created by “fussy” cutting from a second sheet of paper and layering on top of the same image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares.  Heartfelt Creation’s Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit was used to add dimension to my cuts. I was so pleased with how the details looked on…

Whoooooo’s Sooooo Cute??!! By Cathie Allan I am so excited to share with you this layout that is a direct result of me working with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine on their “Technique Taster’s Show” that is broadcast by Shaw Television and then becomes part of the “library of web shows” that Creative Scrapbooker Magazine has. SUPPLIES: Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock, Clearsnap pigment ink, Art Screen, embossing powder, stylus and white foam tip, Art Impressions stamps and dies, May Arts ribbon, Tombow Dual Brush pens, Sizzix dies, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. My series of shows was a set of 3 different segments that you will get to see in just a few months. For each segment, I created a project where I stepped out some very fun and inky backgrounds that I believe you are going to love. I kept them easy and “colorful” and you will be able to use these…

Ah…..Connie Nichol here today.  There is nothing like sitting down with a crisp new issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and a cup of tea.   Especially in the summer when you are sitting outside in a lawn chair listening to the birds singing and the grass feels good under your bare feet.  I snapped this picture a couple of summers ago, and it still makes me smile when I look at it. To scrapbook this picture, I used products from Fancy Pants Designs Office Suite line.  It’s a very versatile paper line containing everything from soft pastels and delicate florals to bold black and white patterns.  It would work for everything from baby photos to travel or wedding photos. The Office Suite alphabet set is big and bold and makes a page title just pop.  This alphabet set  comes in the paper pack or you can buy it separately. You can also…

Hello again! It’s Kim here with my take on the February Sketch designed by Kelly Klapstein. I was inspired to rotate the sketch as shown and from there just started to play until I felt I was done! I love how it turned out, though my husband doesn’t see any similarity to the sketch…LOL! The papers and embellishments are from Bo Bunny’s Believe collection. I was hesitant at first to get this collection of papers, as I wasn’t sure if the theme would work for my style of scrapbooking.  Once I opened up the papers, stickers and die cuts I was pleased to find LOTS that I was comfortable working with…I love the colours and whimsy so much. The products that don’t “work” for me will easily be altered and adapted for my needs. So many inspirational sayings and thoughts, I can’t wait to play with this paper collection again. I…
