Recently, Stampinβ Up! has joined forces with Becky Higgins to develop an amazing Project Life by Stampinβ Up! product line. These exclusive products include items such as the 4×6, 4×4, and 3×4 cards, embellishments, alphas, stamp sets, punches, framelits and more. I am here to show you why Project Life can work for you! Many people find that the Project Life system helps them create beautiful scrapbook pages without spending hours on a single page. Although, I believe this is very true, it isnβt why I love itβ¦ I adore traditional scrapbooking because I feel like the page is my piece of art β my canvas. However, there are times when I simply have too many photos. For example, I take a huge amount of pictures during family events as I try to annoy everyone as much as humanly possible capture special moments with family and friends. These are the…
Simply Pressed Clay Flowers Featuring Stampin’ Up! by Connie Nichol I have had so much fun with the Simply Pressed Clay and clay molds from Stampin’ Up!Β Β I just love being able to make these flowers and buttons as I need them in a variety of colours to match every project.Β Hereβs all there is too it: Gather up your supplies β Simply Pressed clay, molds and classic ink re-inkers. The clay is white, soft and very light weight, and a dream to work with. If you donβt want white flowers and buttons, mix in a few drops of reinker.Β Of course, the more ink you add, the more intense the colour will be.Β I slipped on a disposable glove so that my hands did not get all inky here. Just massage the clay and reinker for a few minutes until it is smoothly mixed. Then press into…

Colour Blocking with Ink Pads – with Cathy Caines Summer has finally arrived on the East Coast of Canada!! Whenever the sun is shining I need to take full advantage so I like quick and simple layouts during the summer months. Typically when I start a scrapbook page, I haul out a 12×12 piece of white cardstock and go from there. Using that as a canvas, I let my imagination take course so that the page and the pictures morph into a piece of art. After playing with mega blocks with my little girl, I thought about how to incorporate it into my scrapbook pages. Using four Stampinβ Up! ink pads, I turned them face down to create a cool background. Arrange them on the paper before opening your ink pads to get your page organized. A quick tip is to first apply a thin layer of gesso on…
Hello Everyone! Β It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share some stamping on a Father’s Day Card. With some wonderful Stampin’ Up! products, I made a really cute card (which my kids will probably give to their Dad! ha ha) Β These papers are actually a winter collection, but I think they work great for Father’s Day, don’t you? I used this awesome chevron border punch along the bottom of the card base. I just love this Stampin’ Up!Β Gorgeous Grunge set and used 3 of the stamps for this card. I stamped this striped piece to layer over the heart with the sentiment, which I hand wrote. I added that teeny jaw clip just because it’s so adorable! I also drew the heart on card stock and cut it out, then stamped the spattered dots on it. Behind the punched chevron border, inside the card base, I stamped these grunge lines:…
Kim Gowdy here! Hope everyone is having a great April! I have to say when I was given this week as my Tuesday with the Team date; I was just a little excited. You see, itβs the last one before Easter, so it lets me have an Easter theme! I have been stalking SVG sites lately and really wanted an excuse to buy one from SVGcuts. They have the most awesome collections and as I have discovered, if you take the time to open and read the pdf file that comes with the purchase, you will find the recommended height or width for each file. You have seen us play a fair amount with the Brother ScanNCut. I love that you can use the online program; ScanNCutCanvas, to upload SVG files to cut. There is a learning curve to this and any new software, but itβs pretty easy to use.…
