Kim Gowdy here!
Hope everyone is having a great April! I have to say when I was given this week as my Tuesday with the Team date; I was just a little excited. You see, it’s the last one before Easter, so it lets me have an Easter theme!

I have been stalking SVG sites lately and really wanted an excuse to buy one from SVGcuts. They have the most awesome collections and as I have discovered, if you take the time to open and read the pdf file that comes with the purchase, you will find the recommended height or width for each file.
You have seen us play a fair amount with the Brother ScanNCut. I love that you can use the online program; ScanNCutCanvas, to upload SVG files to cut. There is a learning curve to this and any new software, but it’s pretty easy to use.
I made these adorable carrot boxes and tag. I think they will make an awesome little gift filled with jelly beans or chocolate eggs.

Once cut they were really simple to assemble. I used Core’dinations ColorCore cardstock and sanded for a distress look. The green pieces were embossed first with a Spellbinders embossing folder for a little more detailed interest. The boxes have one edge that needed to be secured, for this I used a length of Be Creative Tape as it is super strong. Everything else is put together with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L – my favorite, go-to adhesive for almost everything! Tie them closed with May Arts Ribbon…and they are ready to gift!
The tag is cut from a Spellbinder’s die. On a piece of Canadian Scrapbooker Super Stock I simply stamped the adorable bunny from a Unity Stamps stamp & Clearsnap ink. A quick colour job with some Stampin’ Up! markers, a little May Arts Ribbon [twine] and we’re good to go!

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter!
Have a wonderful Easter everyone!
