Playing with Tombow Dual Brush Pens

Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today I am having some SERIOUS fun with my Tombow Dual Brush pens! While I was in Barcelona last spring we toured many of Antoni Guadi’s buildings. I completely fell in love with Guadi’s work, especially his tiles and stain glass. They inspired many pages in my art journal and this layout. When I got home I knew I had to try a scrapbook page with the technique. I used watercolour paper as my base, a good mixed media paper would work well too. I taped the paper to my surface with washi tape to keep any wild paint spots from migrating too far off the page. Fall Card Featuring Impression Obsession

Hello, Connie Nichol here with an autumn themed card featuring Impression Obsession stamps along with a Tombow adhesives and Clearsnap ink. The DCWV burlap is a MUST HAVE! It is super easy to work with and adds a home spun feel to any project. The Project The Products This rake and leaf die set is the cutest from Impression Obsession. I love that there are multiple leaf dies in this set. It makes it very fast to cut out a bunch of leaves in assorted fall colours. I used a Tombow glue pen to adhere the leaves and the rake to my card. It’s very precise and easy to use and works perfectly for tiny or intricate die cuts. The Impression Obsession stamp set is called ‘Watch the Leaves’. This is also a great quote to use on fall themed scrapbook layouts.I backed the stamped sentiment with burlap…

Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the blog having fun with the Canada 150 logo. Did you know that the super cute Canada 150 logo is available for you to download? There are so many imaginative ways for us to use it. A quick search on Pinterest revealed that quilters have taken up the challenge but I haven’t seen many paper crafters doing anything imaginative with this inspirational design. A new way to organize our lives is taking the creative industry by storm….look out planners, here comes the bullet journal! What is a bullet journal, or ‘bujo’ for short? Essentially it’s a way to organize our daily lives, tracking anything like daily schedules, tasks, or moods or exercise or nutrition….the list (no pun intended) is endless. All you need to start with is a blank notebook, and there are lots to choose from. One of the more popular journals is a Leuchtturm brand, which is a hardcover book with grids or lines or dots. I decided to get a Leuchtturm with a dot grid, and then I went online to learn more.
