I LOVE working with fall colours! Who’s with me?? SUPPLIES: Bo Bunny patterned paper, buttons, chipboard, brads, film sticker and cardstock, Tombow Dual Brush pen, Stamp Runner and Xtreme Adhesive, Clearsnap ColorBox Spritzers and ink, May Arts Ribbon I used the Bo Bunny Take a Hike collection. The warm earthy tones, that work with practically any type of photo. My layout today, focuses on one special photo. So I created a base of lots of layers of pattern and texture to showcase that special photo.Β Along the top border of patterned paper I added a line of coordinating decorative brads, for some additional texture. I added some simple splatters of my Clearsnap ColorBox Spritzers to the bottom left hand corner of my layered cardstock base. Do you LOVE to use ribbon on your layouts like me? Using Layered Stencils from Elizabeth Craft Designs Hello everyone – Christy Riopel here! I am really enjoying playing with the Elizabeth CraftΒ Designs new layered stencils. It lets you create two coloured patterns with ease! Supplies: Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock, Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies, Stencils and Paper, Clearsnap Dye Ink, Liquitex paint, Tombow Mono Multi liquidglue, thrift store scrabble tiles, Sakura Pens Here are the Elizabeth Craft Designs Β supplies I used. Step1: using an ink applicator like this ClearsnapΒ stylus with a foam tip, apply red inks to the cherry part of the stencil. Step 2: layer the stem part of the stencil over top so each stem aligns with a pair of cherries. You can easily see through the stencil to do this. Step 3: using green inks sponge the ink over the stem parts of the stencil This gives you a two colour finished image when you lift off…
Crazy Cats can Dream too! Nicole here share this funny little card and an easy tutorial for a background.Β This card is inspired by my crazy cat.Β She ate my stampsβ¦yep you saw that right.Β She ate my Upstream stamps. I hauled out my Upstream stamps and Crazy Cats stamps and Sizzix Crazy Cat dies.Β I cut Dream with the Alphanumeric die on Sizzix leather paper.Β I stamped this crazy cat onto watercolor paper inked with Ranger Β Archival Jet Black. I used Ranger Ink Distress Markers hickory smoke, carved pumpkin, twisted pumpkin and vintage photo to create my tabby crazy cat.Β Just like Miss Flurryβ¦ the stamp eating cat.Β I just got the Sizzix Crazy Cat dies so it was so great to not fussy cut. Now that the Crazy Cat is quickly cut I can start the background.Β I used my Ranger Distress Ink to ink up my Upstream…
SUCH A HANDSOME βDEXTERβ PUPPY! By Cathie Allan Here is a quick and fun layout using some βtimeless stamping toolsβ.Β I kept the steps for this βaltered scrapbook layoutβ simple and fast. After stamping the βLine Backgroundβ stamp from Frogβs Whiskers Ink several times on our Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock (my favorite cardstock for my projects) in Clearsnap ColorBox Blackbird, Fluid Chalk ink I added super quick coloring with my Tombow pens. Quess what? I have been stamping a long, long time and my Tombow pens are years old and still are full of ink and ready to go. The capping system is so good on these particular pens that you will get every bit of ink out of them so long as you put the caps back on. I love this! I did not do any βfancy coloringβ I just added color. After that I used my Clearsnap ColorBox…
