Hey crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here and today I have a funky and fun layout to share featuring the Ranger Dylusions Flight of Fancy stamps along with my Chameleon Color Tone Pens. Here are all of the nitty-gritty details.Β First create your layered cardstock background. The kraft cardstock is 10.75×10.75 and matted in white cardstock that is 11×11. I cut 8 pieces of black burlap string and tied a knot on one side and adhered it in behind these two layers of cardstock. Then adhered it to a full sheet of black cardstock.Β Project Recipe: Ranger- Dylusions Flight of Fancy Stamps and Archival Jet Black In Chameleon Pens- BG4 Aquamarine, GR4 Evergreen, BL3 Sky Blue, YG3 Spring Meadow, BL6 Royal Blue, GR1 Green Apple Chameleon Color Tops- BL7 Indigo Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Creative Photo Corners Black, E-Z Runner Grand, 3D Foam Squares White Mix, Adhesive Dots-Medium, E-Z Runner Ultra Cardstock- Kraft,…

Hey crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. With Halloween fast approaching I thought I would share a sweet and easy little Halloween card. I adore this collection from Creative Memories, Toil & Trouble and all of its cute patterns and coordinating embellishments. (This is one of the lines from Creative Memories that is GOING GOING GOING GONE – so order yours today if you love it as much as me) I used the patterned papers to create the asymmetrically layered background of my 6×6 card. Then I used a combination of patterned paper, cardstock and cardstock stickers to create the border of hexagons and images up to the left-hand side of the card. To create dimension I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to pop-up some of the elements. I created a matted sentiment strip using patterned paper, stickers and border stickers. Then…

Hello friends! Tracy McLennon here, and I am loving that Autumn is right around the corner in my neck of the woods. Cooler days, changing leaves and of course pumpkin spice everything. To celebrate in a crafty way, I created this Take Life One Cup At A Time card, with a fall colour scheme. I started my creation by stamping this fabulous Art Impressions image onto white cardstock using black Archival Ink. Then I added colour using Chameleon Pens. I did so using some simple bold shading for more of a cartoon look. Then I simply fussy cut around the images leaving a narrow white border.Β I inked the edges of all of my patterned and cardstock layers using Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink. Using patterned papers from the Hello Fall collection from Carta Bella, I hand cut leaves that were about 1.5” long and 1” wide. Then I added them…

Hello crafty friends! TracyMcLennon here, and today I am back up on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog to share a Best Wishes Card I created featuring the Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Lace Frame dies, Clearsnap ColorBox products and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I wanted to showcase just how gorgeous these frame dies were, and how you can use all the different layers in one card. Die cut the following: Using white cardstock die cut the largest frame and the smallest frame. You will be using the piece that comes out of the middle of the smallest frame. Using plum cardstock die cut the largest frame. This time you are simply using what comes out of the middle. Using gold shimmer cardstock, die cut the smallest frame. This time you are using the intricate frame. Cut a piece of gold cardstock that is just a little larger than the white die cut…

Hello everyone, Tracy McLennon on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog today sharing with you a card I created using a variety of different products from the wonderful company Art-C.The card base is cream cardstock and cut to a 4.25×5.5 card front. Cut the 2 shades of kraft cardstock to 4.5.25 and 3.75×5, both of these were found in the Collage Kit. Using the honeycomb cling stamps from the Stamp and Adhesive Stencils and using brown ink, add some stamped detail to the darker kraft cardstock layer. Adhere these layers together using the E-Z Runner Ultra. Add the kraft photo corners from the collage kit. Using Ivory Burlap String, create a large layered circle and adhere to the middle of the card using Adhesive Dots. Add the large tag with a Natural Burlap String bow to the card over the twine circle using Crafty Foam Tape. Using the super strong E-Z…

Hello and welcome back crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here, and today I have a little liquid gold inspired layout to share with you. My layout is inspired by my husband’s love for craft beer. I don’t like beer myself, but what I do enjoy is exploring these fabulous local businesses and the art and design that goes into their craft. As soon as I set eyes on these fabulous stamps from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection….I knew I had to have them for just this reason. Even just as the stamp alone, don’t they look fabulous?I created my layered background and then did a few simple mixed media steps in order to frame the area where my matted photo would be. A little blending and splattering, and let dry. Then I stamped the beer mug and beer bottle onto the layout itself in black ink. This ends up simply as a…
