Heritage Layout featuring Stampers Anonymous

Hello crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here and I’m hoping these beautiful summer months are treating you as well as they are me, in my neck of the woods. Just because it’s summer, doesn’t mean I don’t stop creating. But these days I’m usually crafting on rainy days or later at night. Today I am sharing with you a Heritage Layout featuring Stampers Anonymous. I have been on a kick lately of creating heritage layouts. I just love creating using a vintage colour palette and using heritage family photos that I am lucky enough to have access to. Here are the details. I created a stamped border using all of those stunning vintage Ornate Trims stamps from Stampers Anonymous using Ranger Walnut Stain Distress Ink and brown embossing powder. Butterfly Layout featuring Pink & Main

Welcome back, crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here, and today I have a pretty little Spring-inspired butterfly layout to share featuring Pink & Main, Ranger, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Kelly Creates and Chameleon Color Tone Pens. Here are all of the nitty-gritty details. Start by cutting down the Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock cardstock to 11×11. Mat your 4×6 photo in white cardstock and add Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Black Creative Photo Corners. Using a blending tool and Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks (Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick), create small blended circles diagonally across the 11×11 cardstock. Using Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink again (Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron) and the Pink & Main silhouette butterfly image stamp, stamp 3 images around where your photo will be in the middle of the layout. Using Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays, splatter colour across the layout diagonally. Let dry…

Welcome back crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I have a fun little Friend Card to share that I created using a fun new stamp set from Art Impressions. Here are all of the details. Project Recipe Art Impressions- Texting BFF’s Stamp Set Kelly Creates- Black Ink and Acrylic Blocks Ranger- Distress Oxide Ink (Spun Sugar, Peacock Feathers) Ranger – Stickles- Diamond Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Crafty Foam Tape White, E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser Chameleon Coloured Pencils White Cardstock First I stamped my images onto white cardstock using Black Kelly Creates Ink and Acrylic Blocks. Then using Chameleon Coloured Pencils, I added colour to my stamped images. These pencils are so very easy to shade and mix. I cut down the cardstock to my card front size. Then using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink, and my blending tool to add the…

Hey crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here, and today I have a fun little card to share featuring some great new products from Ranger’s Simon Hurley create. collection. These stamps are just too freaking cute! I started my card by cutting a piece of Kraft cardstock to 4×5.25 and then stamping the Splinter background stamp onto it using the Woof ink pad. Then using a blending tool and the same ink, I darkened the edges a bit to create a bit of a shadow. I stamped the animals, tree, and trampoline images onto white cardstock using Jet Black Archival Ink. I added colour to the images using Chameleon Color Tone Pens, and then fussy cut them out. Die cut one of the Heartfelt Creations Hand-Stitched Accents frames from white cardstock. The stamped kraft cardstock gets adhered to the white cardstock card base. Then using multiple layers of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L…

Hello crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here. Today I have a beautifully festive layout to share using the new Simple Vintage Christmas Collection from Simple Stories. I adore everything about this collection. The classic Christmas palette, the vintage imagery and the sheer selection of fabulous coordinating embellishments. This collection has so much crafty potential for all sorts of your holiday crafting and scrapbooking. I love to create with lots of layers, texture, and dimension. So each of these bits, pieces, and patterned layers have dimension thanks to Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares, Thin 3D Foam Squares, and Crafty Foam Tape. You’ll also find the coordinating washi tape here and there adding pops of colour. Some finishing touches include gold glitter enamel dots and ivory buttons.
