Every great scrapbook layout and card needs a solid foundation, and that is where Core’dinations™ card stock comes in. Their booth at CHA was jam-packed with tons of card stock possibilities and more!
Their sign says it all…
I was VERY excited about their “Chalk Core” card stock. There are 2 options: black exterior and white core, or black exterior and different coloured cores. SO COOL!
There are 5 colour options: Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Orange. They come in smaller folded card sizes too!
So when you emboss and/or sand to expose the core, you achieve that fun chalkboard effect…
Totally love the distressed style you can create with Core’dinations Colorcore card stock!
Also on display was designer David Tutera’s “Celebrate” card making system:
These sets incorporate 3 steps for card design: 1. Select a card 2. Add a layer 3. Embellish How easy is this?
And just look at the selection of embellishments and layering elements! Plus, there’s a wide range of coloured card bases.
Another designer had a newly released collection on display in the booth. “Dena Designs” features bright, vibrant youthful patterns and colours for paper crafting, scrapbooking and card making as well. Her paper packs called “Embellish” come in both 6 x 6 and 12 x 12 sizes.
There are also a number of different themed mini album sets in her collection.
The themed albums are so cute and colourful!
The bright tones and playful patterns are also perfect for teens…
Offering a more neutral palette, Core’dinations displayed their newly released ” Core™ Basics” line, composed of heavy weight kraft, white and ivory papers, tags, cards and envelopes in different sizes.
The White, Black and Kraft papers are available in smooth and textured in 12 x 12 and 6 x 6. It’s the same Core’dinations, heavyweight cardstock but no colored core. You will probably be excited to hear about the Core’dinations NEW 110 lb. card stock that comes in 8.5×11 and 12 x 12 too.
Also, there are smooth cards in the white, cream and kraft. I know some of you stampers and mixed media artists are VERY happy about this news!
Nothing like a blank canvas to let your imagination run wild!
