There’s always lots of excitement buzzing around the Sizzix booth at the Craft & Hobby Tradeshow!
The vintage Tim Holtz displays are amazing as usual!
Projects made with the new dies are on display…gorgeous grunge!
Isn’t this coffee cup die fabulous?
One of the most exciting new releases is the Tim Holtz Alterations line of punches:
Each Sizzix licensed designer has a separate area of the booth. It’s like leaving an antique store and walking into the sunshine!
Lori Whitlock’s designs are always bright and fresh!
Brenda Walton also designs really cute dies.
Where Women Cook magazine editor Jo Packham has teamed up with Sizzix to create a fun line of cooking, kitchen, home entertaining theme dies.
Stephanie Barnard’s designs are always super cute.
So many sweet cards made with 3D dies!
One of the new releases garnering a lot of attention is French General, a collection of dies for organizing beads, buttons, needles and notions. French General is a vintage craft store/workshop located in Los Angeles, California, specializing in beads, buttons, millinery and textiles reminiscent of the rural French countryside with a red/white/blue palette on display.
The beach/ocean themed displays were spectacular too!
Sizzix Designer Eileen Hull has the most adorable retro camping and outdoors/travel themed dies!
Aren’t the Adirondack chair and camper dies fantastic?
The Eclips2 and its accessory toolkit were on display. If you are considering an electronic cutting machine, check out Connie Nichol’s tutorial series with the Eclips2 on our blog.
There are some wonderful new tools and die cutting accessories released too!
There is a new Precision Base plate, handy for those intricate wafer-thin dies.
One of the best improvements I saw in the booth was the new cutting pads! COLOUR!! So you don’t lose those clear acrylic pads in the mess on your studio desk (well, ummmm, at least I do!)
There is also a new Extended Magnetic Platform.
Love the idea of this unique embossing folder called a “Shadowpress Station”!
A totally fun new product are these Ink Sheets, to be used for a letterpress effect with your dies, embossing folders or even your own handwriting!
