Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog with some autumn inspiration for you from BoBunny and the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine October Sketchy Challenge. This month’s sketch gives you room to tell a great photo story; it has room for four photos! The off-kilt design shakes things up a bit, creating some fun energy.

I love summer colours but it was so fun to play with the rusty burgundies in this BoBunny Dreams of Autumn collection, they are so rich and yummy: almost makes me excited that fall is here.

Pretty much every fall photo I have looks great with this line.One of the cool features in this collection is the page with all the single elements. I fussy cut out several of the leaves and then got messy. The results were some realistic 3D embellishments. After I cut out the leaves I sprayed them with water and basically scrunched them up.After the leaves dried I rubbed some Clearsnap ColorBox Fluid Chalk ink over the ridges and edges. The results are some fabulous dimension. You may find that the leaves rip a bit when wet but that doesn’t matter because when you attach them to the base paper you can scrunch them into place and it all looks fine. The finally element that really pulled everything together were the ink splotches I added using Clearsnap Smooch Pearlized Ink in Pumpkin, Moonlight and Copper .

I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Foam Squares and adhesives to adhere the scrunched up leaves. The “Dreams of Autumn” Collection also comes with an Ephemera pack. I pulled a photo frame and  a few papers and tucked them under and over the photos. The beauty of using collections is that everything coordinates and it makes it so easy. To create my title I used my Silhouette to draw the words with a sketch pen and then cut out the words.
