Hello! Kim here with my layout share inspired by the January Sketchy Challenge! I LOVE when I complete the sketchy challenge in the same month it was posted…it feels like a little win! My husband and I were eating a meal that we ordered for curbside pickup and the bag everything was packaged in screamed to be recycled! My BIG title was actually cut from my bag ~ how fun is that? The rest was easy! I use Lightroom Mobile on my phone and iPad and let it do a task it does well…I searched for “food” photos! Once I picked the photos to use, I created a collage in the Project Life app, which made it easy to print! Diptic is another app I use for this task! I love my new Tonic Studios’ Guillotine cutter – it cut my little prints perfectly! It’s the perfect size for card…

Hi friends! Noreen Smith from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here, sharing two layouts based on a single sketch featuring Harvest Delight and Wicked Cute collection by Creative Memories. As I mentioned last month, I create sketches to share on my own blog and YouTube Channel, but I ‘m always looking for new inspiration for my scrapbook pages. Did you know that every week, Creative Memories posts a Round-Up of sketches based on the layouts and projects shared that week on their blog? What an incredible, ongoing source for new ideas! I was itching to scrapbook as I couldn’t wait to play with the new fall and Halloween collections – Harvest Delight and Wicked Cute (just two more reasons to love fall!)… …and I wanted a fast and easy sketch that could fit three photos. I really liked this Creative Memories Sketch – I loved that it incorporated borders as part of the design…

Hey there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here! It’s kind of a Creative Memories tradition that a new Baby collection arrives each Spring, and the new Storytime Collection is so cute that I had to dig out my boys’ baby photos and create some new layouts! What I love about this collection is that everything mix and matches together beautifully and will work for both boy and girl layouts! It features two paper packs, two sticker packs, an embellishment pack, a variety mat card pack, gorgeous album covers, pre-designed refill pages, and even gift box bundles that would be the perfect gif for a new mom! I had two sweet photos of my son Grayson as a newborn that I wanted to feature, and Kerry Engel’s April Sketchy Challenge sketch was perfect to showcase them! I love finding a new sketch from Kerry every month on the CSM Sketchy Challenge Page for…

Soft pastels and summer vibes. Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. The Creative Memories Blend and Bloom collection includes patterned paper, embellishments, and stickers that can be layered to create subtle, soft,” summery” pages. My Kuaui photos in this layout have a soft, over exposed finish and they softly whispered “Blend and Bloom”. I combined both the blue and green paper packages and was inspired by the February sketchy challenge. I just adore the laser cut leaves. You can use either side of the leaf-they are slightly different colors. Both colors combine perfectly and mimics the subtle shades of a summer garden. There are several different leaf shapes that look great as a single focal point or combined to create a garden or bouquet. I crunched up the bottom right corner of my paper so I could tuck in a leaf vine. Keeping items close together…

Good Morning everyone! Kim here with a very quick layout share of my take on our June Sketchy Challenge. As you will see, once again I have flipped and rotated the sketch! My layout still only loosely follows the new perspective, but you’ll see how the components of the layout are still there!Echo Park’s Dog collection was the perfect choice for my subject; my ready-to-go chocolate lab Bella! I used MultiCraft’s card stock as my base as well as adhesives from Therm O Web and a Chameleon Color Tones pen aptly named ‘bark’ [though probably as it relates to a tree not a dog-LOL]. We look forward to seeing how you use our monthly sketches from the Sketchy Gallery! We LOVE to share them on social media!

There is ALWAYS time to join our monthly sketchy challenge. Each and every month Kerry Engel designs a sketch for your creative inspiration.  Create a layout, card, canvas, art journal – whatever your creative heart desires – and upload it to our Sketchy Gallery.
