Hello! Kim here with my layout share inspired by the January Sketchy Challenge! I LOVE when I complete the sketchy challenge in the same month it was posted…it feels like a little win! My husband and I were eating a meal that we ordered for curbside pickup and the bag everything was packaged in screamed to be recycled! My BIG title was actually cut from my bag ~ how fun is that? The rest was easy!
I use Lightroom Mobile on my phone and iPad and let it do a task it does well…I searched for “food” photos! Once I picked the photos to use, I created a collage in the Project Life app, which made it easy to print! Diptic is another app I use for this task! I love my new Tonic Studios‘ Guillotine cutter – it cut my little prints perfectly! It’s the perfect size for card makers, it handles paper up to 8.5 inches wide!
My layout is otherwise very basic! I almost always start with a sheet of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock, it’s bright white and beautifully sturdy! I have used a border strip from a Wild Whisper patterned paper [Talk Foodie To Me collection] along with some Ali Edwards’ chipboard, wooden die cuts, and word stickers.
My BIG title is adhered down with Ranger Ink‘s Dylusions glue sticks ~ a favourite when I want all paper edges to stay flat!
This was an easy, but fun layout. It reminds me of many good food events over a couple of years! Tell your food stories! You might be surprised how many you have!
Have you joined our Sketchy Challenge on Facebook? We think you should, so many uploads of inspiring layouts based on our monthly sketch! See you there!
