Christmas Card Designed by Karan Gerber

What i love about the collections from Heartfelt Creations is how easy it is to create gorgeous cards by just adding a few die cut images.
I am working with the papers from the Festive Holly Collection
Stamps and dies also from the Festive Holly Collection and the small poinsettias are from Celebrate the Season

Today I am using distress inks from Ranger and Zig Clean Color Brush Markers from Kuretake to color my images.
Lets get started; stamp out your images on canson water color paper using Archival Coffee Ink. Begin to color with the zig makers. I used the following colors.Zig-Clean-Color-Brush-Markers-Kuretake-Creative-Scrapbooker-MagazineChristmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Stamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-Magazine-4Christmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Stamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-Magazine-4Next die cut outthe  above images, then stamp poinsettias from Celebrate the Season on canson watercolor paper using Archival Coffee Ink.  Using a finger dauber; color using Aged Mahogany and Peeled paint from Ranger!Ranger-Distress-ink-aged-mahogany-peeled-paint-Creative-Scrapbooker-Magazine Pierce holes in center using a piercing tool, turn over and mist from back.Christmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Nuvo-Drops- tamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-MagazineLightlymold from the back.Heartfelt-Creations-Christmas-Cards- Deluxe-Flower-Molding-kitInsert stamens by adding a drop of dries clear adhesive in center pull stamen through and let dry.Christmas-Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Nuvo-Drops- tamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-MagazineFor my background pattern paper; I chose this image from the papers and cut to 5.75 x 5.75 and used the Fleur borders on the bottom; and cut out again on the white card which is 6×7.Christmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Fleur-Borders-die-Stamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-MagazineLayer the die cut images on top using foam adhesive.Christmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Stamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-Magazine-4Attach the mini poinsettias to the holly leaves; be sure to cut off the wire from the stamens. Wrap some gold ribbon around the right side of the card; add some gold thread and a couple trinket pins. Detail with Glue gloss and crystal clear.Christmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Stamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-Magazine-4Final detail is to add Nuvo Morning Dew to the berries on the patterned paper image. Nuvo will dry with some added dimension and make those berries pop.Christmas Card-Festive-Holiday-Collection-Heartfelt-Creations-Nuvo-Drops- tamping-cardmaking-Karen-Gerber-Creative-Scrapbooker-MagazineStamp the Merry Christmas on a coordinating paper, and lightly ink edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
Enjoy creating Christmas cards for your friends and family using the papers, stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations.
