Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Jayme Loge here with a little glance at what is on my scrap table this week! I’ve not spent a lot of creative time making cards or scrapbooking lately; I’ve been creating in other ways, exploring poured acrylic painting, working in different kinds of planners, creating messy art lessons for second graders and playing with the Impression Obsession Elegant Feathers stamp set. My oldest niece graduated in June, so I took that as an opportunity to get back to my first love and create a grad card for her. I love how it turned out- it is not at all traditional but I think it is encouraging for a lovely young woman about to head out into the adult world.
With everything laying out on my scrapbook table, I just kept going and created this layout using an old photo.
I stamped out a bunch of feathers for the background, then used a stylus to apply more ink around the stamped images. I used the Clearsnap ColorBox Pigment ink Petal Point Serenity. I love the soft, pretty background it created!
Thanks for looking and happy creating!
