. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite Christmas beverage and learn how to recreate my gift box at home. To start, you’ll need to choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas 6×8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. Cut the patterned paper piece in two pieces that measure 4” x 4”. Distress the edges of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, choose another piece of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas 6×8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. Cut the patterned paper piece in two pieces that measure 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”. Distress the edges of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas 6×8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. Cut the patterned paper piece in two pieces that measure 1” x 4”. Distress the edges of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need to choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas 6×8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. Cut the patterned paper piece in two pieces that measure 4” x 6”. Distress the edges of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas 6×8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. Cut the patterned paper piece in two pieces that measure 3 3/4” x 5 3/4”. Distress the edges of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas 6×8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. Cut the patterned paper piece in two pieces that measure 1” x 6”. Distress the edges of the papers. Ink the edges of the papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas Woodland Bits from Simple Stories, you’ll need two trees and two branches. Ink the edges of all four pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Out of the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas Bits & Pieces from Simple Stories, you’ll need two postage stamps, two tickets, two word strips, the tree rectangle piece, the star and poinsettia. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas Chipboard Clusters from Simple Stories, you’ll need the joy to the world circle, the happy holidays circle, the small star and the Merry Christmas Label. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Assemble your gift box together from Jennifer Edwardson Creative Inc. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 3 3/4” x 5 3/4” piece to the 4”x6” piece. Adhere the 1”x6” strip to the middle of the 3 3/4”x5 3/4” piece. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the tree rectangle 1/4” from the right and 1/2” from the bottom of the 4” patterned paper. Adhere the believe ticket 1” from the left and 5/8” from the bottom of the 4” patterned paper. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the joy to the world chipboard piece 5/8” from the right and 3/8” from the bottom of the 4” patterned paper. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the two postage stamps to the left of the joy to the world chipboard piece as desired. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 4”x6” patterned paper piece to whichever side you want the front. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 3 3/4”x3 3/4” piece to the 4”x4” piece. Adhere the 1”x4” strip to the middle of the 3 3/4”x3 3/4” piece. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the poinsettia to the left side of the 3 3/4”x3 3/4” piece as desired. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the holly jolly sentiment to the right of the poinsettia as desired. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 4”x4” patterned paper piece to whichever side you want. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 3 3/4” x 5 3/4” piece to the 4”x6” piece. Adhere the 1”x6” strip to the middle of the 3 3/4”x5 3/4” piece. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the joy ticket 7/8” from the right and 7/8” from the bottom of the 4” patterned paper. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the Happy Holidays chipboard piece 1 5/8” from the right and 1/8” from the bottom of the 4” patterned paper. Use adhesive to adhere the two trees to the left of the Happy Holidays chipboard piece as desired. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 4”x6” patterned paper piece to the remaining matching side. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 3 3/4”x3 3/4” piece to the 4”x4” piece. Adhere the 1”x4” strip to the middle of the 3 3/4”x3 3/4” piece. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the two pine branches to the middle of the 3 3/4”x3 3/4” piece as desired. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the star to the middle of the pine branches. Adhere the magical sentiment to the bottom right of the star as desired. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 4”x4” patterned paper piece to the remaining matching side on the box. To finish the box, punch two holes in the top left corner of the chipboard star and Merry Christmas Label. String a piece of twine through the hole of each chipboard piece and tie the twine through the handle on the box. Here are a few closeup photos of my gift box.
