Happy Hello Creative Scrapbooker friends, Annette Allen from MyCleverCreations.com here with you today as a guest designer. I am so excited to be sharing with you the NEW Pink & Main Oh My Garland Stamp Set along with other NEWLY released Pink &Main products.
I know we are all gearing up for Christmas and what fun the holidays bring. I just love creating Christmas cards, they just make me happy and everyone always loves a homemade card. Pink & Main has just released so many fun stamps, Foilables, Foil, Dies, Stencils… and much more. Make sure to check out the releases every third Friday of each month. Today I am featuring the Pink & Main newly released:
- Oh My Garland stamp/dies (designed by: Mommy Lhey Designs)
- Oh Christmas Tree stamp/dies
- Layered Candy Cane Stencil
- Fancy Frame Dies
- EZ Squeeze Craft Glue
- Foam Tape
Create card from white cardstock A2 size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2).
Place your card base on a surface using non-permeant tape. This helps to hold the card in place. Now place the first stencil from the Layered Candy Cane stencil set directly onto your card. You might also use some low tack tape to hold the stencil in place white you add your color. I used a light pink for the first solid candy cane image. Remove the first stencil and add the second layer using a darker pinkish/red color. Remove the stencil and see the beautiful candy cane design you created.
Stamp out your images from the Oh My Garland and O Christmas Tree stamp sets on a separate piece of white cardstock using Pink & Main Asphalt Premium Dye Ink. Color the images using your favorite medium. I colored my images using Copic Sketch Markers (E37, E34, R85, R83, R27, R24, R22, E00, E000, YG45 and YG25). Now die cut using the coordinating Oh My Garland and Oh Christmas Tree dies.
Die cut the larger of the two frames in the Fancy Frame die set on white cardstock. Leave the die in place, you can hold it down or place some tape around the edge and tape it to your crafty surface. Take the two colors you used for the candy canes and blend the ink in the inside of the die. By leaving the die in place you will see that it will leave a white border around the frame. We will use this fun die cut to create our background on.
Using Pink & Main foam tape and EZ Squeeze Craft Glue create your scene on the fun Fancy Frame. By using foam tape this adds dimension when over lapping your images. Now that your scene is created add some foam tape to the back of the Fancy Frame and adhere it to your candy cane card base.
Stamp out your sentiment from the Oh My Garland stamp set using the darker color ink from your background on white cardstock and then die cut using the coordinating Oh My Garland dies. Add some foam tape to the back of the upper part of the sentiment and adhere it to your card scene. There you go a Christmas filled card using all these cute things from Pink & Main. I don’t know about you but I LOVE that new Layered Candy Cane stenciled background. So many cute products to create with and like I always say…. go wild with color.
Thank you for joining me today and I really hope that you enjoyed this fun card that I created.
Happy Crafting!
