Hi friends! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a single-page scrapbook layout featuring a brand-new collection by Creative Memories – Emerald Gemstone! This stunning collection is inspired by the wonders of nature and features patterns such as starry night skies, aurora borealis, bold leaves, peacock β€œeyespots,” mineral deposits, water droplets, crystals, and watercolour washes in a radiant palette of navy and royal blue, teal, white, emerald green and touches of yellow-green. There is a Patterned Paper Pack, a Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack, Stickers, Variety Mat Cards, and Laser-Cut Borders in the collection, as well as a gorgeous Album and Fast2Fab Pages, and I knew it would be perfect to use with some photos of a beautiful river valley and waterfalls from Kananaskis Provincial Park here in Alberta. I also wanted to use the new Gemstone Border Maker Cartridge as its unique shape works well to highlight and repeat the jagged shapes…

Here is one of many gorgeous layouts you will find in the Summer 2020 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine!!!! Hello! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share some ideas, tips and tricks for using simple tools to create a fun, custom layout! We scrapbookers and papercrafters love, love, love our tools and are always excited to try out the latest and greatest, but it can be very satisfying to get back to basics and create with simple tools like stencils or templates, scissors and pens. I had lots of fun using the Apple Recipe Template, Hello, Autumn Journal Template, Micro-Tip Scissors, Navy Dual-Tip Pen, Β Alphabet Stamp Kit System and Celebrations Title Stamp along with the lovely Hello, Autumn Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack to create an apple-themed layout! Here’s how to make it: First, trace the outside edge of the apple on the Apple Recipe Template onto the rich Crimson Cardstock and cut it out with the Micro-Tip Scissors. Trace the leaf and stem shape onto the neutral monochromatic and green…

Here is an example of one of the projects you will find in our Farm Animals feature designed by Connie Nichol. Connie created this layout featuring the Echo Park Paper Co. Down on the Farm collection.Β  She added some stitching with her Brother sewing machine.Β  And adhered all the elements in place with Glue Dots Adhesives. So fun! Summer is slowly slipping away but that doesn’t mean we can’t capture those moments and scrap them. Hello fellow creatives, Nicole here bringing you a scrappy layout!Β  I know… not my usual gig.Β  However, I have a new paper collection releasing with Wild Whisper called Tinbit Travels and I wanted to scrap with it.Β  I created these mixed media pages to mimic the outdoors with colours and texture.Β  Check out this easy layout for my Airstream, Tinbit. Tinbit Travels is about to release.Β  For this layout I cut every sheet.Β  Yes, that was surprisingly difficult.Β  I printed out a 5×7 Tinbit photo and gathered some supplies to get inspired. I cut each piece of the mixed media side of the Tinbit Travels pages 1 ¾”x 11”.Β  Because each mixed media page is designed with the textures of nature, I wanted to add all that pop of colour.Β  You can use…

Happy Tuesday With The Team! It’s Kim here today with a quick share. I look forward to Tuesdays on our blog to see what β€œmy peeps” have been up to when they aren’t busy doing assignments, I’m always inspired! And THAT is just what I want to touch on today. I love that I am able to create and share for Creative Scrapbooker, and am thrilled if one of my projects has inspired one of your layouts or cards. What’s important to know…I also get inspired from so many people and places. It’s a wonderful feeling with the creative brain takes over and flows, but that is not always the case! Today’s layout share is not a β€œKim Original”! I scraplifted this idea from IG: @scrappingwithchristine ~ her layout was shared on Creative Scrapboooker Magazine’s Instagram feed on May 28th. I loved it as soon as I saw it, and…

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Jayme Loge here with a glimpse of what is on my scrapbook table.Β  I am going to share a layout with you that documents these Covid times as we are experiencing it. Everything changed so quickly- life was its usual busy self and then it was pared back to just the essentials. Although there are many stresses and trials while living with this virus, there have been many gifts too. I am enjoying the calm and the refocus of what really matters to me. I spent so much time in my pre-covid life just running from task to task that I was not really present for much of it. I lived all those activities but didn’t really experience them.Β  Now, just the simple act of getting groceries is more intent-full, fully felt and a delightful part of my week.Β  I am loving that! I attempted to capture…

Hello everyone – Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I had an afternoon of happy accidents recently when I was playing with Therm O Web Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets. I ended up creating a card and a scrapbook page. I started with my MultiCraft Forever in Time burlap. I wanted to see if I could add the Flock Transfer Sheets to MultiCraft Forever in Time burlap using the Therm O Web Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo. The Transfer Gel DUO works two ways; you can transfer flocking or foil using heat from a laminator OR pressure from a die-cutting machine. Transfer Gel DUO is a permanent transfer medium that dries clear and remains tacky for easy use. I spread the Transfer Gel DUO through stencils and laid a piece of the Flock Transfer Sheet on top and ran it through my die cut machine. A…
