All the wine is ready to be delivered and I am just getting my bottle tags ready to identify their new owners. wink I love how these turned out and wanted to share them with you! I thought they’d be FABULOUS for those of you who take a bottle of wine as hostess gifts during the holiday season. I made my Bottle Tags a wine theme but they could just as easily be created with a Christmas or Hanukkah theme as well! The bottle tags were made using my Brother ScanNCut machine. In Canada, November 11 is Remembrance Day. It is a statutory holiday in most provinces and territories in order to commemorate members of the armed forces and to remember and honour those who have fought for our country and our freedom. It’s about respecting our past and thanking those that have served. I grow many poppies in my garden and they always make me think of the iconic war poem ‘In Flanders Field’ by John McRae. To add some subtle texture and interest to the piece of Bo Bunny Heritage patterned paper, I used a Bo Bunny stickable stencil and smeared a little molding paste through it with my finger. I adore the way these stencils stick, even after repeated washings, so the molding paste ends up where it is supposed to. All the time. It can’t sneak under the stencil and make a mess.
