Happy Tuesday Canadian Scrapbookers!
Welcome to my blog post showing a little of what is on my scrap table. I picked up some papers and stickers from the Simple Stories fall collection called ‘Pumpkin Spice’
When I picked them up, it hadn’t snowed yet, and I was feeling the urge to scrapbook some of my fall pictures. Here is what I came up with:
Thankful for Sunsets
SUPPLIES: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper, Stickers: Simple Stories; Journaling Pen: Creative Memories
You Warm My Heart
SUPPLIES: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper, Stickers: Simple Stories; Embossing Powder, Mica Flakes: Stampendous; Chipboard: Southern Ridge Trading Co.; Trim: May Arts
Can I just say how much I love not very good camera phone selfies with that sunburst? I take an embarrassing number of them, but I feel like the day is just shining down on me! Maybe one day I will make a layout with a bunch of them.
Ready for #Epic
SUPPLIES: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper, Stickers: Simple Stories; Trim: May Arts; Chipboard: www.boozybear.blogspot; Embossing Powder, Glitter: Clearsnap; Ranger Distress Paint
Here is a little detail shot of the chipboard.
I painted it with distress paint, then roughly added ‘watermark ink’ so that it had imprecise coverage and embossed with a clear powder.
While the powder was still warm, I pressed it into Clearsnap ‘Fairy Dust’ glitter so that it added a bit of sparkle.
And there you have it! As I finish writing this post, there is a call for a large amount of snow that should be here (in Alberta) by the time you read this. I’ve scrapped some fall pictures, so I suppose it is time to change seasons.
May you enjoy whatever it is that is coming your way!
