Hi, Tracy here! Today I wanted to share a quick and easy card idea using Stampin’ Up! Stamps, Ranger Archival Ink, Chameleon Pens and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Project Recipe: Stampin’ Up! – Falling Flowers Stamp Set- Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set (Sentiment) – Cardstock- white and black Ranger- Tim Holtz Distress Archival Ink- Soot Black – Stickles- Yellow Chameleon Pens – YO3, YG3, RD4, BG4, PR4 Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- EZ Runner Grand, Black 3D Foam Squares I started with a piece of white cardstock that was 3.75×5. Using my Ranger Archival ink I stamped the Stampin’ Up! flowers and leaves along the top and bottom of the cardstock. This stamp set is perfect for trying Chameleon markers for the first time. The lines of the images are a little thicker, providing a little more forgiveness when colouring. Once my images were coloured I added my sentiment. I picked nice…

Lately I have been feeling un-inspired. I want to be in my craft room but it seems like everything I make, I can’t get quite right. While playing around with the Lift Me Up bundle in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog, I was stamping in black and gold and red… pretty much every colour of the rainbow. And then I finally used silver embossing powder. BAM. That’s all I needed to get the wheels turning. I stamped in silver and then I did some die cuts in silver foil. I was really impressed how the silver foil Up and Away Thinlet die ran through the Big Shot with ease. This particular card has a lightly water coloured background using the tempting turquoise Stampin’ Up! refill ink. This gave it a look as if it was a sky. Many of you know that I die cut and stamp…
Welcome to the shabby chic world of the FabScraps booth! It’s hard not to “oooooh” and “aaaaah” at everything on display. There are 5 new collections that are so beautiful! Stickers, chipboard, stencils, charms and die cuts accompany each line. The first is called “Lavender Breeze” and it is so lovely with a colour palette of soft purples and white washed wood patterns. “For the Love of Tea” is a collection that has my heart leaping for joy! For those beach vacations and summer time projects, “Summer Loving” is a wonderful new collection with a coral, mint green colour palette and images of flip flops, starfish and shells. “Woodland’s Friends” is a playful, nature themed collection well-suited for children, with a fresh purple, lime and teal colour palette. February ‘s theme is Love and Valentine’s Day, and Betty Hung has designed another gorgeous card for you to colour. We just love that lettering with the ribbon effect and the word “Love” ! Betty used Tombow Dual Brush pens and Irojiten Coloring pencils to create this card. Here is what the download card looks like. The one booth that is sure to make you smile at the tradeshow is Art Impressions. Their stamps have hilarious images and cute caricatures of people and animals that will brighten any card or project. And this year AI is celebrating 30 years in business!! 30 years of making people laugh and smile is a pretty good thing. Probably most well-known for their “Girlfriends” line of stamps, the booth was filled with cheerful, samples of cards that were beautifully coloured. Here are a couple of our personal faves: There are newly released “Get Well” themed stamps too: Valentine stamps and cards were also on display and are so sweet! The Zoo Crew stamp line features hilarious quotes and animals in funny poses: Add some Shakers and Spinners, and you have stamped images that move! So much FUN! Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and although I don’t normally create a lot of projects for Valentine’s Day, I wanted to create a few special cards for those special people in my life. Using the Butterfly Kisses Collection from Bo Bunny, some chipboard pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company and pairing them up with new quarry stones and embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies as well as a variety of products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful vintage “Love” card.
