Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Today on the blog, I’m sharing my vintage/mixed media Create, Explore, Dream Tag perfect to add to a gift, give to a special someone in your life or add to an art journal spread. To create my tag, I’ve used a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs,  Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Super Stock a variety of products from Ranger Ink,  embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite Springtime beverage and learn how to recreate my tag at home. To start, die cut the large tag from the Planner Essentials – 26 – Planner Pocket 4 – Tags & Toppers from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of kraft cardstock. Place the Story Telling Stencil from Elizabeth Craft Designs on the tag and put Texture Paste Opaque Matte from Ranger Ink through the stencil…

Happy  Tuesday! Kim here on the Creative Scrapbooker blog again, sharing a couple of projects I worked on this past weekend! I’m sure, if you are a bit like me, that every now and then you find some paper that makes you super happy! Well, when I came across Echo Park Paper Co. Little Lumberjack Collection, it made me squeal just a bit! I LOVE all the plaids, patterns and whimsical designs. They will honestly keep lumberjacks of all ages happy! I first created a simple layout. I layered a square of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock to the plaid background. I don’t often work with exact measurements, instead I often just use intuition based all parts! I then cut 4 rectangles from papers in the collection, approximately 3.5 x 5. This became the main component to build upon, from this point it’s all fun and embellishment! I had fun layering the stickers,…

Hi everyone, Eileen Hull here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog! I hope you are keeping cool this week! Temps in Virginia were at 100 degrees and I headed to the ocean with a couple of crafty friends. We loaded the truck up with enough supplies to last a year, even though we were only spending one night. Sound familiar? I had found a bag of shells in a dollar store and decided to create something with them. I have always been fascinated with how delicate they look and how strong they are! I used Clearsnap ColorBox Blends2 inks and Molten Dimensions embossing powders by Emerald Creek Craft Supplies to add color to the shells. They came out so pretty! I think it would be really cool to add these to a frame, shadowbox or even add to a tag or card if the shell was small enough. The…
