Therm O Web products make adding foil to your project an absolute breeze! Here are a few cards I put together with a shiny finish. I created a card base using an Elizabeth Craft Designs die. Next, I started with a Therm O Web Deco Foil Toner Card Front. I sandwiched the card front into a piece of parchment paper, layered some Therm O Web Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils SHINY SIDE UP on top. Closed the sandwich and ran it through the laminator. WOWZERS! Those hearts sparkle. Next, I used a Therm O Web Gina K. Designs circle die to cut out a sentiment from the Therm O Web Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates. I added the foil, in the same way, I added foil to the Toner Card Front. I wanted a little heart accent. So I took the Therm O Web Gina K. Designs heart die and cut…
Art Impressions stamps capture real life for so many women. The confident ladies strutting their stuff in the Girlfriends Make the Best Accessories stamp reminds me of me and my friends when we go for lunch. I wanted to make the ladies a bit glitzy so I used the paper piecing technique on their sunglasses and purses. A little glitter goes a long way! I also tried something different for me, I applied Ranger Tim Holtz Oxide inks onto foiled Therm O Web Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates paper. It turned out really well. The inked and foiled background looks like a Vegas night sky. Here’s how I created this look: 1. Stamp the Art Impressions Girlfriend stamp on watercolor paper and fussy-cut the ladies. 2. Stamp the Ranger Oxide Inks on a non-porous surface and add water, using a paintbrush paint your stamped image 3. Stamp the image a second…

Our design team member, Kerry Engel has been playing with the Quilted Poinsettia Frame Die by Impression Obsession and I am loving the results. Here is one of her creations. She cut the die out onto our heavyweight Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. The base of the card was created using some Therm O Web Gina K. Designs cardstock. Kerry Colored the quilted poinsettia frame die using Amy Tangerine watercolors by American Crafts. For the inside of the card, Kerry used another Impression Obsession die and colored it using Ranger Wendy Vecchi embossing powder. Hello everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative ScrapbookerMagazine blog playing with a FABULOUS new product by Therm O Web Deco Foil – Flock Transfer Sheets. I have fallen in love! Velvet, suede-like surfaces are now so easy to create using Therm O Web Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets; it’s easy and mess-free. There are 8 different colors of flocking to choose from. Flocking adds a whole new dimension and character to your paper crafting projects. It adds texture and texture therapy is why I scrapbook. You can cut the Flock Transfer Sheets into shapes or you can transfer the flocking to cardstock using Transfer Gel. I applied a layer of Transfer Gel through a Clearsnap ColorBox Art Screen – this one is called ‘jumbled’. It will take an hour or so to dry. Lay the Flock Transfer Sheet fuzzy side down on the dried paste. Place the two…
