MulltiCraft Forever in Time was the starting point for my “Happy Memories” 12X12 scrapbook layout. Who can resist a jar full of flowers? I was feeling a bit playful in my studio and these charming MultiCraft Forever in Time bottles filled with flowers were the inspiration for my whimsical vision. To build my base layer I stamp some Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink on a non-porous surface (plastic sheet) then I spray some water on the ink. After you spray the ink with water you pick up the plastic sheet and dab it onto the paper. I dapped one colour at a time. I like the look of tone-on-tone so using the same colour of Ranger Oxide Inks and the MultiCraft Forever in Time floral stamps I stamp a variety of flowers on top of the background. White Opaque Pigment Pen – Painting Technique with Kerry Engel

Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog excited to share with you a fun little technique to make your stamped images POP with little or no effort using a white opaque pigment pen by Ranger. I am going to call this technique – white pen painting. LOL! I am slightly addicted. To create this layout I used a variety of Stampers Anonymous stamps, Ranger products, Glue Dots Adhesives, MultiCraft Craft Decor burlap ribbon, and wooden embellishments. I challenged myself with this layout to see how many different ways I could use stamps. To be honest I only started using stamps a few years ago when I got into mixed media. Sweet Pea Scrapbook Layout – Deals from your Dollar Store

Hello, Connie Nichol here this morning with a layout featuring a number of supplies from my local dollar store. This was actually an extra project leftover from my recent article in the spring 2019 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. As part of the process for creating each of my articles, I spread out all relevant supplies and imagine the possibilities. My brain churns with ideas and I usually end up creating way more projects than there is space to publish. This is a very messy stage and the floor in both my craft room and the adjacent living room are usually covered with little piles of supplies. Ha! Just imagine a landscape of all sorts of dollar store craft items – pipe cleaners, pompoms, stickers, adhesives, gems and so on. Heartfelt Creations Backyard Blossoms

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring stamps, dies and patterned paper from the Heartfelt Creations Backyard Blossoms collection. I adore the coneflowers and other blooms that are its focus. In addition to patterned paper, there are three stamp sets with matching dies that are part of the collection. I’ve used the set called ‘Blossoming Coneflower’. I stamped the images with Ranger archival black ink and coloured them with Chameleon pens. These pens were absolutely perfect for this project – I could achieve gradation of colour in the petals and leaves with a single pen. Supplies Used: Heartfelt Creations patterned paper, stamps and dies, MultiCraft flakes, glue, letter stickers and wooden butterfly, Chameleon Color Tone pens, Ranger ink, Glue Dots Adhesives, corrugated cardboard, doily. Guitar Scrapbook Layout featuring MultiCraft and Glue Dots

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring a number of products manufactured by MultiCraft and adhered together with various adhesives from Glue Dots. MultiCraft is based in Ottawa and strives to provide great quality craft items at reasonable prices. Some of the brand names under the MultiCraft umbrella are Forever in Time, Craft Medley and Color Factory. I find many of their products at my local dollar store so they are an excellent choice for frugal paper crafters. I started with some Forever in TIme Vintage Rose patterned cardstock. I moistened the top and bottom edges with a paintbrush and some water and rolled and ripped them to create a border. Here’s what the flip side of some of those patterned paper looks like. Happy Sunday everyone! Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog creating a shiny SHAKER card. I’m still relatively new to stamping and card making. I tend to go all in and try to use as many products as I can. Thankfully, Therm O Web understands and always has amazing corresponding products that feed my need for “lots of details”. Their Gina K. Designs Premium cardstock has been a game-changer for me; it’s smooth, high-quality finish has helped to elevate my stamping and embossing…and then they have foil – how did I ever create without foil before?
