Hi everybody, Connie Nichol here! Today I was as a guest designer on the Quietfire Design blog. Β  I have used and loved Quietfire Design stamps before, but this was the first chance I got to play with their digital design files and the new metal dies designed by Quietfire Designs and manufactured by Elizabeth Craft Designs. Β  They are just gorgeous. There are quite a few digital cutting files available at Quietfire DesignsΒ and they are easily downloaded and used by any electronic cutting machine that can accept svg files. Here is one of the three thank you cards I made with a cutting file and the Sizzix Eclips2 electronic die cutting machine – click HERE to Β head over to the QuietfireΒ DesignΒ blogΒ to see my other cards and learn a little about how I made them. Β I love the way they all turned out – quick and easy just using specialty…

In September, Kelly Klapstein has been Guest Designer over at the Quietfire Design blog.Β  On Friday she shared her second project, a gorgeous Thanksgiving card. SUPPLIES: Quietfire Design stamps and die; Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock; FabScraps patterned paper; Clearsnap Ink; Brother ScanNCut; May Arts Ribbon twine. Kelly used a beautiful Quietfire Design stamp set called “To Give Thanks” along with a “Thanks” die.Β  Click HERE to visit the Quietfire Design blog to learn more about how this card was made. The 3D easel card base and pumpkin were designed using the Brother ScanNCut machine. Here is Kelly’s video tutorial on how she created these with the ScanNCut.

If you love stamping, then you probably love Quietfire Design products! These beautiful calligraphy stamps and hand-drawn images look gorgeous on cards, scrapbook layouts, and other paper crafts. Quietfire Design also offers a selection of wonderful dies in the calligraphy style. Today Kelly Klapstein’s Graduation layout is on the Quietfire Design blog featuring the stamp set “Butterfly Circles, May the Wings.” Click HERE to visit their blog now and learn more about this page design. Kelly used the FabScraps paper collection “Tranquility.” The circles, diecut element, and gold border were all cut using the Brother ScanNCut machine from Core’dinationsΒ  Adhesive glitter paper and Canson Watercolour paper. The ScanNCut can scan the stamped images and cut a shape around them. The Core’dinations glitter paper is 12″ x 24″ … and works beautifully with electronic cutting machines. This is the perfect glitter paper for home decor, papercrafting and a DIY party! The…

Featuring Aladine Izink PigmentΒ inks distributed by ClearsnapΒ and Quietfire Design stamps Hello, Connie here impatiently waiting for the snow to melt, the mud to dry and the garden to grow. This layout was totally inspired by my stash of fake flowers.Β  I was trying to declutter my basement and gathered up all the artificial flowers that I have collected over the years.Β  Most of these were purchased from Dollarama or from the clearance aisle at Michaels and Walmart stores, but have largely turned into dust collectors since I rarely useΒ flowers on layouts these days. Before I passed these posies on to their next home, I thought I would do one more layout with them for old time’s sake.Β  I started with a piece of Canadian Scrapbooker Superstock and made my own really simple customized paper by adding a rainbow of colour with Izink inks. Β  The Izinks are manufactured by Aladine…

Today on our blog, we welcome Kathy Jo Wood who makes stunning cards with Quietfire Design stamps and dies! Hello Canadian Scrapbookers! My name is Kathy Jo Wood,Β  and it is an honor to be a guest blogger today! A little about me: I live in Waverley Nova Scotia with my handsome hubby, Greg. We are both mechanical engineers, we play ultimate Frisbee together, watch baseball and football together, and we are fortunate to have the best friends, families and furry family that two people could ever dream! Our furry family members include our sweet Saint Bernard, Ella, and three fluff ball kitties Ginger, Pepper and Nico. Most days I am in my craft room. During the work week I try to get into my craft room by 9pm, and it is not surprising for me to head to bed at midnight or after. I really enjoy my crafty time…
