Hey guys, Tracy McLennon here! I’m back today with a project that I created using some really fun stuff from Art-C  and May Arts Ribbon. They offer so many great and innovative products that can be used for papercrafting, mixed media, home decor and on and on. My little project today is a small 6×6 shadowbox frame. This frame I made for myself, a photo from our wedding day, and sand from the beach we got married on. Shadow box frames can be precious keepsakes. They can also make beautiful gifts for the ones you love. Hello everyone – Tracy McLennon here! Today I am working with the La Vie En Rose collection from Close To My Heart. This collection has some great black and white patterns with hints of pinks and reds. They are so versatile! I chose to work with a photo of myself, from a little while ago. It just happened to be in black and white which is perfect with this collection. But remember, that is an option you can ALWAYS choose with your own photos when printing. That way you are never restricted by the colours in your photos when picking patterned papers to craft with. Hello everyone – Tracy McLennon here – the newest member of the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine Design Team! I know it’s not often that someone would come across a violin that they could make pretty. But I will admit that is one of the perks of having a band/music teacher husband that has other music teacher friends. It came up in conversation one night about how sometimes you collect broken and unusable instruments, instead of throwing them away. Then, there was mention of this 3/4 size violin, unusable and ready for the garbage. I put a stop to that! I love to decorate for the holidays! My style is very classic, greens, reds and golds. So I knew what direction I would go with this piece. I started with a light sanding all over, so that the paint would cover a little easier. It took about 3 coats of the cream…

Today on our blog, we welcome Tracy McLennon to share her talents using May Arts Ribbon. Hi! My name is Tracy McLennon, and I am really so humbled to have been asked to share some of my crafty life with all of you here on the Canadian Scrapbooker blog. But first, here is a little bit about me. I live my crafty life on the east coast of Canada in Truro, Nova Scotia. What makes my world go round is my talented band teacher hubby, 2 beautiful teenage step daughters, and our crazy rescue pooch Kya. I have the best crafty friends around too! I have been scrapbooking and teaching paper crafting for about 17 years now, and in that time I have seen SO many changes, and love how the art has evolved. My style would best be described as clean, classic design. I love to mix patterns and…
