Nicole here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog sharing my jumpstart on fall – this gorgeous fall card. OK, I know, I know we are only half way through summer and already Iβm blogging fall leaves! Β I really couldn’t help myself. Β I mean… you know me!Β This week I am blogging forΒ XyronΒ whereΒ Newton’s NookΒ are teaming up for some… AWESOMENESS! Β I thought I would share my simple card here too.

Today’s Project
I love fall leaves so of course I had to go for these gorgeous leafy stamps. Β Can you imagine these embossed or in an art journal! Β So many creative ways to make stuff.

Building the Card
I gathered some goodies including my Tag and Tie to make a Kraft Tag for the sentiment. A little bit of stamping and inking goes a long way.

I stamped the wee pumpkin from the Falling for You set (linked below) and coloured with Stabilo Woody 3 in 1 pencils. Β These are great for watercoloring too. Β Yep, it happens from time to time… I fussy cut the pumpkins out.

I stamped the Beautiful Leaves stamp (linked below) with a blend of Ranger Oxide Inks. Β Stamping again on inky scrap paper with large maple leaf… yep, more fussy cutting. Β Oi…

More stamping on the background and then run through theΒ Creative Station. Β I stamped the mini leaves to create a border and popped up the fancy maple leave. Β There’s little pumpkins are run through theΒ Xyron Sticker MakerΒ and ready to attack to the small tag.

Closeups!
I love pumpkins!
Loving the ripped tag.

I do love some fall colours! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Fall card.Β The leaves will be changing soon and I love it!
Donβt forget The Great Scrapbook CarnivalΒ Registration starts today for Edmonton and Aug 2nd for Calgary! Check out the classes for both events, crop and shop!Β I have 2 classes I will be teaching for Calgaryβ¦ hope to see you there and getting inky!
BTW… I love this card layout so much I cased it from my blog bestieΒ A Blog called Wanda! Β It’s OK, I told her I was totally going to make one!
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!
