Deck the Halls with Christmas Sweaters by Cathy Caines 
The holiday season is upon us and I am in full swing. I am so ready for the magic of Christmas and all the simple joys it brings as I enjoy the wonder of the season through the eyes of my children Jane (7) and Jack (5). I am wishing you and your families the very best this holiday season – from my family to yours.
About a month ago Stampin’ Up! released their new line of alcohol markers called Stampin’ Blends. Ever since the release, I have been coloring just about everything. However, the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Sweaters stamp set is by far my favourite. The markers seem to bring the sweaters to life.
Before making any projects, I coloured several of the images while catching up on The Americans TV show. Once I found myself back in my craft room, I played with the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shapes framelits in order to ground the images onto a card. Once I was happy with the simple design, I created several of these cards.
The Quilted Christmas 6×6” Designer Series Paper is the perfect paper to bring out the colours in the images. As I continued to play around, I embellished the top of the Mini Pizza Boxes. These boxes are 3.5” x 3.5” and perfectly hold four to six 3”x3” cards. What’s even better is that they are lined so you can pop a baked goodie in there as well… I, however, will not be putting baked goodies in there unless someone else has made them. Instead I popped some tags inside to give to someone as a gift!
