Creative spaces and the 1st of September! Hope everyone is gearing up for a wonderful long week-end, it’s like the last hoorah before we get back into routine again. My son is no longer in school, but I must admit September routines are like resolutions in January…the are deeply engrained! I look forward to spending more time in my creative space as the weather cools. We’ll keep our intro short today as Alyson Mayo has a great photo share for us…here we go! Let’s take a peek… I have been told several times that I have a very interesting (and organized) creative space. I actually deal with diagnosed OCD and it manifests itself in the form of perfectionism so I canβt stand disorganization. I also love the colour turquoise so that was a huge factor when choosing elements for my space.I am fortunate to have a large room in my…
Some of you may think itβs silly to do a CSM Spotlight on Ranger Ink, after all ‘everyone’ knows who they are and what they do. While those of us who have been stamping, playing with mixed media or who have worked in the industry for some time, no doubt know who Ranger Ink is, we really do want to introduce these wonderful products to crafters of ALL levels! First up a little history. Ranger Ink was founded in 1929!!! I did the mathβ¦thatβs 88 years in the INK industryβ¦thatβs a whole lot of homework backing their amazing products! Initially they manufactured commercial inks used in the banking industry. In 1979 they developed the first art stamp pads, and began doing private labels for stamp manufacturers in 1998. Since then they have grown to successfully market their own quality products that we have come to love! Products such as Distress…

This week we are heading south to Hanover, Pennsylvania, USA! My name is Anita Fordyce and I live in Hanover, PA, which is near Gettysburg. Β I have been scrapbooking for about 20…

What you may not know is that Echo Park was founded in 2010. I was a bit surprised to learn that they are still a relatively new company, I feel that they have been around forever! That is a sign that they are doing it right! Itβs a sign that they are providing quality products year after year and staying on top of the industry trends! Echo Parkβs goal is simple β create easy to use crafting products while incorporating fun designs and bright colours! NAILED IT!!! Although this fun company started out creating papers, they have quickly expanded to albums, dies, stamps and stencils. There current catalogue features over 2000 products! I recently found…
