Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a fall layout featuring some gorgeous Momenta textured cardstock that has a dreamy water colour look. The cardstock comes in an 8×8 paper pad with three sheets of each design. The colours will go with almost everything. I put two of the 8×8 cardstock sheets in opposite corners on a sheet of 12×12 cardstock and then filled in the corners with some shimmery Art-C paint and a self adhesive stencil. Because hey, who doesn’t like to play with shimmery paint? This stuff is gorgeous. And the colour stops my heart. I filled in what was left of the gap between the stenciled paint and the cardstock with a piece of May Arts gingham ribbon, and then mounted my photograph. (P.S. Hello everyone – Jayme Loge here with Tuesday with the Team! My kid is a bookworm, and when I saw Bo Bunny’s Beautiful Dreamer paper line, I knew it was meant just for her! Not only do I love the colour scheme, the book and imaginative images are wonderful. I paired the paper with Creative Scrapbooker’s October 2016 sketch: I am currently having a very serious love affair with the Ranger Dylusions paints and so decided to use them to create the background shapes on my layout. I laid down my stencil and applied the paint with a paper towel, ‘ishing’ the circle shape. I used three colors that coordinated with the paper. I added a little of the green around the edges of the paper and lightly smooshed throughout the background for just a bit more texture. Once the paint was dry, I built my layout on top. One…

Hey everyone, hope your summer has been great to date. I have a quick share today, a card I made, inspired by the June Sketchy Challenge. As I often do, I rotated the sketch. Just by rotating or mirroring a sketch, you can have so many different layouts from the same starting point…give it a go! My desk was too messy to take on a full page layout, yet somehow this card took as much time to figure out! I used cardstock, stamps, ink, markers and dies from Stampin’ Up. If you weren’t aware, their quality dies are made by Sizzix, so they can be used for years and years to come! Everything is held together by various types of Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L products. Happy Mother’s Day! We hope you have time this weekend to do take some photos, do some scrapbooking and record those wonderful family memories. The May sketch is up in our Sketchy Gallery ready to inspire you! I was lucky enough to spend some time scrapbooking on National Scrapbook Day and designed 2 layouts based on this sketch. The first one features the Simple Stories “Heart” collection. I did a little brush lettering with the Tombow Fudenosuke soft tip brush pen to add “you have my” to the title. For the second layout, I rotated the sketch a quarter turn clockwise and used Fancy Pants Designs “Me-Ology” collection. I’m trying to scrapbook more photos of myself this year, and the ME-ology line is perfect! I used the Tombow Monotwin to doodle on the layout and add some interest with black lines. The Monotwin has 2 tips of different sizes…
Hey everyone…Kim here, sharing my take on our April Sketch. This month’s sketch is a very basic, graphic design that could be used over and over…and look different every time! I love that! My four square grid is a bit “lost” in the background, but if you look you’ll see it! I used products from Heartfelt Creation’s collection, “Italiana Riviera”. These papers, stamps and dies are stunning! They were so fun to play with. Check out this detail shot to see the layers. Some of the layers were made with the stamp, dies and Clearsnap Chalk inks. The other layers were created by “fussy” cutting from a second sheet of paper and layering on top of the same image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares. Heartfelt Creation’s Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit was used to add dimension to my cuts. I was so pleased with how the details looked on…
