Guitar Scrapbook Layout featuring MultiCraft and Glue Dots

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring a number of products manufactured by MultiCraft and adhered together with various adhesives from Glue Dots. MultiCraft is based in Ottawa and strives to provide great quality craft items at reasonable prices. Some of the brand names under the MultiCraft umbrella are Forever in Time, Craft Medley and Color Factory. I find many of their products at my local dollar store so they are an excellent choice for frugal paper crafters. I started with some Forever in TIme Vintage Rose patterned cardstock. I moistened the top and bottom edges with a paintbrush and some water and rolled and ripped them to create a border. Here’s what the flip side of some of those patterned paper looks like. Wonderland by Kaisercraft featuring Karan Gerber

HI Friends, welcome to the Creative Scrapbooker Blog today! Its Karan Gerber here to host the blog for you today and I have a simple winter, scrapbook layout to share with you using papers from the Kaisercraft Wonderland Paper Collection. I know sometimes we want to fit as many photos as we can on a layout, but often times we are able to capture a special moment and that photo deserves a full page. This photo is of my friend’s grandson Boston, I am so grateful she let me scrapbook him. To start off, I used the Wonderland snowfall for my background, cutting out a one-inch frame all the way around and I matted an 11 .75 x 11.75 dark blue cardstock on top. Realizing this color would be too dark for my layout I decided to add another cardstock mat on top of that measuring 11×11. My cut out from the background…

Hi friends! Noreen Smith from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here on the CSM blog today sharing some tips on using a fantastic tool from Creative Memories – the Collage Wreath Recipe Template! This is the latest in a series of wonderful templates that can really take your layouts to the next level! The mylar template can be used over and over again to create a wide variety of scrapbook pages by rotating the stencil and/or flipping it to the other side, and you can customize each layout by choosing which the of traceable elements you want to feature in your layout. Simply place the template on top of patterned paper or cardstock, trace the shapes you want with a pencil, cut them out and arrange them on your album page or cardstock. Dec Sketchy Challenge with Katelyn Grosart

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I’m excited to be back on the blog today sharing with you my last post of the year and to end the year, I’ve created a Christmas themed scrapbook layout. To kick-start the idea for my layout, I used our December Sketch which was designed by Kerry Engel. With the sketch in hand, I set off to create my Christmas Memories Scrapbook Layout which features the Christmas Collection from Carta Bella Ink from Ranger Ink and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite holiday beverage as I share with you how I created my layout at home. In the bottom right side of the circle, I layered in elements out of the Christmas Ephemera, Frames & Tags and the Paper Pack from Carta Bella. The photo is cut down to 3 ½” x 3 ½”. Be Merry with Karan Gerber

Hello Friends, its Karan Gerber with you today to share a holiday layout using some products from a couple of my favorite manufactures. I am sure many of you have taken a ton of photos over the holidays and perhaps are looking for some inspiration to get those photos into your albums, here is a layout designed using the fabulous Winters Edge Collection from 49 and Market I also combined some of their blooms and chipboard is from 2 Crafty Chipboard I started with a 12 x 12 sheet and cut down a second sheet to 11.5 x 11.5 and distressed the edges. I actually distressed the edges on all my paper layers of this layout to add some texture. The photo mats measure as follows: dark mat measures -7.5 x 7.5; the grey gingham is 5.75 x 6.75; the red striped paper on the background is 2 strips 3×12 inches…

Good Times with Vicki Boutin for American Crafts

Hi, there everyone, Nathalie DeSousa with you today with a very fun and colorful Christmas layout that celebrates those Sweet Good Times the season brings. For today’s post, I wanted to work with lots of colors to document a picture of my kids building their gingerbread house. So, I pulled my Vicki Boutin mixed media products and started working on the background for this page. It all started with a foundation paper that had been gessoed; I played with some Vicki Boutin Art crayons to create the watercolor background on the page. The color combination was inspired by the mints that are slowly showing around our house lately. While the background dried, all the gingerbread houses were cut from Caramel colored cardstock using a cut file from Handipaper, and then backed with white mixed media paper. In addition, the small mints that surround the cutouts were created by stamping the circles…

Hello crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here. Today I have a beautifully festive layout to share using the new Simple Vintage Christmas Collection from Simple Stories. I adore everything about this collection. The classic Christmas palette, the vintage imagery and the sheer selection of fabulous coordinating embellishments. This collection has so much crafty potential for all sorts of your holiday crafting and scrapbooking. I love to create with lots of layers, texture, and dimension. So each of these bits, pieces, and patterned layers have dimension thanks to Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares, Thin 3D Foam Squares, and Crafty Foam Tape. You’ll also find the coordinating washi tape here and there adding pops of colour. Some finishing touches include gold glitter enamel dots and ivory buttons.
