Feature Friday is here! Every Friday, I will highlight one project that was published in a past, or in the current issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine! HOORAY! Just another fabulous way to showcase so many amazing projects that our followers have shared with us throughout the past 15 years! DRUM ROLL PLEASE There are so many things I love about this layout designed by Cathryn Ledger from Edmonton, Alberta. The cute little birdie cut file looks awesome with all the different pieces of patterned paper showing through. They have a quilted baby bird feel that I love! The Boys with Tracy McLennon

What a fabulous layout designed by Tracy McLennon using those old photos that often scare us. Nobody wants to wreck these precious memories. The answer – MAKE COPIES and scrapbook them! WIN-WIN! I love all the Ranger Distress inks and sprays she allowing this photo to take center stage. Tracy used a variety of Stampers Anonymous stamps including the Wendy Vecchi Off the Grid Background stamp AND the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Tapestry Stamp set to create layers on the background. She also used the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Crocodile Layering Stencil to create the design you see on the outside frame of the background. LOVE IT! The journaling was created using stickers from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers Booklet. Clocks are HOT!

Okay, maybe they are not HOT! But this layout designed by Kerry Engel certainly is! Do you see that clock on her layout – it is from Southern Ridge Trading Company. Kerry used the Simple Stories Vintage Great Escape collection to put this layout together. She fussy cut all those butterflies out from the patterned paper! WOWZERS! Kerry then glued everything together using Glue Dots Adhesives. This layout has me feeling like it is Tea Latte time!!!! 🙂 Kerry’s layout was published in the Winter issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Kalypso Time with Stampers Anonymous and Kerry Engel!

I am sooooo in the mood for a cocktail somewhere by the sea! LOLOLOL! So that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. Kerry Engel’s layout is the next best thing! Bright colours, yummy food, and one of my all-time favourite Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz stamp sets. If you don’t have the Cocktails Blueprint stamp set – you need to get it. Kerry also used a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Layering Stencil to create the design in the background. It makes the layout look like it’s sparkling! LOVE IT! Off I go to dream of a drink by the sea! This holiday season GNOMES were HOT!!!!! You could find them everywhere!!! We fell in love with these gorgeous Nordic Gnome stamps by Impression Obsession. How adorable! Check out Kerry Engel’s layout featuring these gorgeous little designs. Kerry also used patterned paper and embellishments from the Simple Stories Winter Farm House collection. Tags and wood laser embellishments from MultiCraft Forever in Time. And she adhered everything down using a variety of adhesives by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.Beautiful layout Kerry! Noreen Smith and the ThankFull Theme Pack from Creative Memories

Hi! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here with a post-Thanksgiving Layout featuring the ThankFULL Theme Pack from Creative Memories! I know I’ve said it before, but I love Theme Packs: they’ve got plenty of supplies to create a few thematic layouts, but not so many that you have leftovers like you would from a full collection. They are available for lots of different themes and occasions, and the price point can’t be beat – just $12.00 (CA) for four sheets of double sided paper, one sheet of coordinating cardstock plus sticker embellishments! ThankFULL was one of the first Theme Packs Creative Memories introduced last fall, but it’s still one of my favorites with its slightly non-traditional colour scheme, cute stickers and great cut-apart sheet! Hi there! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here today to share some ideas for back to school layouts AND some FREE cut-files with you! Sadly, summer is rapidly ending and it’s time for the kiddos to get ready to head back to school. Since Covid-19 is still a factor, school might look very different this year – some jurisdictions are opening “regular” school, some are only doing remote learning and many are offering a combination of the two. No matter what your child’s first day back looks like, be sure to document it and tell the story of this very unique year! My own boys will primarily be doing remote learning and will be heading back in early September. Tuesday With The Team, Paper that Makes Kim Squeal

Happy Tuesday! Kim here on the Creative Scrapbooker blog again, sharing a couple of projects I worked on this past weekend! I’m sure, if you are a bit like me, that every now and then you find some paper that makes you super happy! Well, when I came across Echo Park Paper Co. Little Lumberjack Collection, it made me squeal just a bit! I LOVE all the plaids, patterns and whimsical designs. They will honestly keep lumberjacks of all ages happy! I first created a simple layout. I layered a square of Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock to the plaid background. I don’t often work with exact measurements, instead I often just use intuition based all parts! I then cut 4 rectangles from papers in the collection, approximately 3.5 x 5. This became the main component to build upon, from this point it’s all fun and embellishment! I had fun layering the stickers,…
