Well hello! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here and I have just returned from Minneapolis where I attended the first Creative Memories Creative Minds Conference! It was absolutely inspiring and I came away with lots of new ideas and excitement for the future of CM! I also came home with new products – the Serene Waters Collection launched this past Monday and all the conference attendees received it! The vivid color palette is stunning and captures the essence of a tropical paradise, and you will love it for all of your beach vacation photos!I was so excited to use the new Serene Waters Paper Pack and the fun new Friendly Fish Decorative Border Punch so I took inspiration from this month’s Sketch, which is the first one by Jennifer Edwardson who is taking over the duties of creating the monthly sketch from Kerry Engel. I send my thanks and appreciation to…
Hello crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here and today I am sharing 3 projects that I created using the Pink & Main monthly kit. I cannot even begin to tell you how gorgeous this kit was, and it was PACKED with beautiful coordinating products to create with. Below is a photo of everything that was included in the kit I created with. First I decided to create this simple block background layout. I used patterned papers and embossed white cardstock to create the 4 background blocks, that then were matted in white cardstock. Adhere the matted blocks to a white cardstock background using Crafty Foam Tape. I chose coordinating Media Gloss Sprays and splattered diagonally across the layout on the embossed cardstock sections of the background. Let dry. I stamped the dragonfly images onto white cardstock using an embossing pad, and Ranger- Black Embossing Powder.I made sure to stamp and color…
Hello! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com today to share a fun and crafty layout with you today! Since I was in New Orleans back in November, and Mardi Gras is just around the corner, this is the perfect time to share a layout featuring the new “Let the Good Times Roll” Paper Pack and Masquerade Border Punch from Creative Memories! These items (and a gorgeous coordinating Album cover!) were created to commemorate the CM Incentive Trip for Advisors to New Orleans Louisiana (NOLA) that I was lucky enough to attend! The purple, green and gold are traditional Mardi Gras colors and the page of cut aparts featured all the fun things we did during our time there! Inspired by the mask in one of the cut aparts and on the Border Punch, I decided to create my own larger paper mask for a layout about visiting the Mardi Gras Museum where…
Kerry Engel is on our latest Web Show designing STUNNING acetate and alcohol ink embellishments that are a SHOW STOPPER. At the heart of Kerry’s designs is her favourite cutting tool – the Brother ScanNCut! Kerry was able to cut out intricate designs on a piece of acetate with her Brother ScanNCut and then coloured them using vibrant alcohol inks. WOWZERS. The results are STUNNING! For this particular project Kerry used a botanical cut file from Brother ScanNCut to create all this beautiful foliage. Watch Kerry’s process video from start to finish! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elvqrDNvxTU Here is a look at one of the projects Kerry designed using her customized acetate-alcohol ink embellishments. Hi there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a layout featuring a favorite saying and sweet photos of my son Grayson when he was just a chubby little guy! I used Creative Memories “Outta This World” Collection which is a kid’s space-themed collection for this layout. The combination of bright and pastel tones will work for layouts featuring all your little astronauts’ adventures! The Stickers and Foiled Embellishments are so whimsical and fun, and when I saw the “I Love You to the Moon and Back” word sticker I knew I wanted to use it on a layout for Grayson’s baby album. I vividly remember reading the sweet little book “Guess How Much I Love You?” to him when he was a baby, and for me (like so many parents!) the phrase “I love you to the moon and back” was an everyday expression of the boundless love I felt…
