Happy Summer everyone, Cathy Caines here today playing with the Wildly Happy Cling stamp set by Stampin’ Up! It seems that I have some news to share! My family and I are so excited to announce to the world that we are growing our family with baby number three coming soon in January! With baby on my mind, I thought it would be nice to create a project with one of my favourite stamp sets in the Stampinβ Up! 2019-20 Annual Catalogue called the Wildly Happy Cling Stamp.Β I always love stamp sets where I can make βsetsβ of cards. With four images and plenty of sentiments, this stamp set can help you create four cards. Typically, when I create card sets, I tend to stay true to a similar design. In this project, I created two styles with two cards each.Β For both sets, I layered the images on…
Betty Hung has designed a beautiful FREE August coloring card for you to download, color and share with your friends. Betty used Chameleon Art Products to color her take on the illustration. Here is the FREE coloring card. CLICK HERE to download your FREE version. Here is Betty’s take on the card. Betty colored her illustration using Chameleon Color Tone Pens Chameleon Pens are much more than a normal marker – they give you the power to change color and bring simplicity to your art. Each pen goes from as light as a hint of a tint to rich tones, eliminating tonal gaps in your collection. Chameleon Pens. One pen, multiple color tones! For simple, seamless, color gradations! Create depth, dimension, highlights, shading, and shadowsβ¦all with one pen! Built to last, Chameleon Color Tones have nearly twice as much ink as a regular marker pen. Can also be used like…
Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Jayme Loge here with aΒ little glance at what is on my scrap table this week! Iβve not spent a lot of creative time making cards or scrapbooking lately; Iβve been creating in other ways, exploring poured acrylic painting, working in different kinds of planners, creating messy art lessons for second graders and playing with the Impression Obsession Elegant Feathers stamp set. My oldest niece graduated in June, so I took that as an opportunity to get back to my first love and create a grad card for her. I love how it turned out- it is not at all traditional but I think it is encouraging for a lovely young woman about to head out into the adult world. With everything laying out on my scrapbook table, I just kept going and created this layout using an old photo. I stamped out a bunch of feathers…
Hello everyone! Cathy Caines here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog playing with the Come Sail Away With Me collection by Stampin’ Up! I am so happy to be back here this month showing you what I love from Stampinβ Up! For the past couple months, I have been busy creating memories rather than documenting them. Iβve been adventuring from one coast to another and itβs time now for me to begin getting these stories told. Today, I was inspired by the Come Sail Away With Me Memories and More cards (Click Here) and corresponding Designer Series Paper. (CLICK HERE) It didnβt take long for me to capture the memories of me hiking to see the Heceta Lighthouse on the West Coast. βI donβt know why I didnβt ask any of the other ladies to join me but off I went to the Oregon Coastline to see the Pacific…
Hi, Connie Nichol here this morning with a couple of projects that recycle sewing patterns.Β If you’ve seen the Summer Issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, you’ll know I wrote a whole article on this topic.Β Be sure to grab the magazine if you want a whole bunch of other ideas.Β Β Among other things, the patterned tissue paper from old sewing patterns makes a great background for cards and scrapbook layouts. Here’s one of the cards I made.Β Quick and simple and I think a perfect masculine birthday card.Β Adhere a layer of a recycled sewing pattern to a piece of white cardstock using gel medium.Β A gel medium is simply a binder without pigment that comes in various thicknesses, sheens, and transparencies.Β I like the Dina Wakely matte gel medium from Ranger.Β Β Just use a sponge brush or paint brush to apply gel medium to the base layer of cardstock…
