Goodbye March. Hello April. The snow is starting to melt in Canada and soon you’ll see families thinking about hikes, bikes and well, fishing! The Best Catch Bundle from Stampin’ Up! caught my eye from day one of the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalogue release. I absolutely adore the little images and the sentiments geared toward Dad. My first project began with stamping multiple images on watercolor paper. I heat embossed the image with clear heat embossing powder. This gives a big enough ridge around the image to help segregate colours when water colouring. I used Stampin’ Up! refill ink with an aqua painter to colour the images. I love the effect of multiple stamped images and also sentiments. Being that the card has a fishing theme, the water colour wash backgrounds suits the stamped images perfectly.
