EEK… Halloween is coming and all things spooky! Hello my pretties Nicole Wright here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog sharing this rich Halloween inspired card with this bold punch of colour. I have fallen in love with the Clearsnap carrot dye mini ink pad!There’s a fun team up this week with Xyron and Clearsnap. I got a little yummy box of Premium Dye Mini Ink Pads and to my delight there was Carrot and Coal in there. I used the Carrot Premium Dye Mini Ink Pads ink and blended, blended and more blending. BAM… Now that’s a rich orange. I hauled out my Stamp Platform for precision! I wasn’t about to the ruin this inky masterpiece! Christy Riopel instantly fell in love with Izinks from Clearsnap. I remember they day Clearsnap sent them to the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine team to play with – a few of us were like “What the heck do you do with these?” I for one am a die hard collector of all things scrapbooking pretty so I instantly knew where they were going to be displayed in my craft room but had no idea how to use them. Giggle Giggle. Not Christy. The first few projects she created with the Izinks were gorgeous, after that the projects were beyond beautiful. What are Izinks? Fall Card Featuring Impression Obsession

Hello, Connie Nichol here with an autumn themed card featuring Impression Obsession stamps along with a Tombow adhesives and Clearsnap ink. The DCWV burlap is a MUST HAVE! It is super easy to work with and adds a home spun feel to any project. The Project The Products This rake and leaf die set is the cutest from Impression Obsession. I love that there are multiple leaf dies in this set. It makes it very fast to cut out a bunch of leaves in assorted fall colours. I used a Tombow glue pen to adhere the leaves and the rake to my card. It’s very precise and easy to use and works perfectly for tiny or intricate die cuts. Hello everyone Tracy McLennon here today sharing my Mermaid layout. This photo is just a perfect match for this stunning Heartfelt Creations collection – Under The Sea.I created simple layers with these stunningly vibrant patterned papers. I used my flower shaping tools from Heartfelt Creations to shape the floral images that I fussy cut from patterned paper.I then added Prills using my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Dual tip glue pen, for a tiny bit of texture. 3-In-1 July Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone – Kerry Engel here! With the start of a new month – brings us our monthly sketch challenge. Here is July’s sketch… Six photos on one page! This is a great layout for telling a visual story. Clustering the pics tightly on the left and keeping the right side empty balances the design. Succulent Summer LayoutMy daughter and I have a lot of succulents. The Simple Stories Summer Days Collection was perfect for our springtime ritual. I created the “succulent” title and white border (based on the sketch) on my cutting system. I filled in the flowers with different papers from the collection. Aloha featuring Heartfelt Creations and Stabilo

Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I’ve loved plumeria since I first went to Hawaii in (cough, cough) 1974. I just couldn’t resist Heartfelt Creations Plumeria and their Tropical Paradise Collection. It just makes me smile. It reminds of Hawaiian leis, beaches and Don Ho’s “Tiny Bubbles” (it was 1974, remember?). To create the flowers I stamped one set in pink (and one in orange) Clearsnap ColorBox ink. I left everything on the stamp positioner so that I could stamp on top and then emboss once I was done coloring. I embossed with Clearsnap ColorBox clear embossing powder.I coloured the stamps with Stabilo Carbothello chalk pastel pencils. I blended the colours with a blending nib. I did the same thing with the Parrot.
