Hello, Connie Nichol here today with an 8 1/2 x 11 layout that I created when I was looking through older pictures and remembering Christy Riopel. ย I just love this stamped quote from Quietfire Design. ย It is so true and it made me smile and weep at the same time. ย Some people that come into your lives make such an impression that you are grateful that you have known them. The Remember word die and the stitched oval dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs, while the papers and stickers are from American Crafts. ย I liked the brightness and the happiness of the patterns and the colours from this Rise and Shine paper line – perfect for creating a scrapbook layout about happy memories. ย Remember to always cherish your friends and family and hold them close because they might not always be there. ย ย ย Supplies Used: ย American Crafts patterned paper…
Here is a layout I found in the CSM archives Christy created years ago. Christy ย created this layout for a feature we were going to run many years ago about our CS Team’s individual scrapbooking spaces. ย It was one of those features that didn’t fly. ย The layouts were archived for a rainy day. ย We never wrote down the supplies that Christy used to create this layout. One thing is for certain – Christy loved her art studio. ย So did we! Creative Scrapbooker Magazine is honoured to announce that we have started an ART Scholarship in Christy’s name. For those of you interested in honouringย Christy Riopel and helping her legacy of ART continue, we are collecting donations for art scholarships for youth through the Boys & Girls Club of Calgary. Happy first day of Fall!ย Nicole here from Nicole Wright Designs and Iโm excited to share my most favorite time of yearโฆ Fall! I just got all my Sizzix dies to play with and I went for the Dashing Deer first knowing I was somehow going to create a fall project. ย Well I usually have some idea of what I may create. ย This one needed lots of leaves and burlap. Onto the fun! I decided to layer up the antlers with the mat board cut 2 times and a layer of Sizzixย Leather Paper. ย I cut the head and upper body with some scrap Core paper. ย For the leaves I made my own paper using watercolor paper. I grabbed my Ranger Distress Spray Stains peeled paint, carved pumpkin and fossilized amber. ย Spritz and spray.ย Apply matching distress inks to intensify the colour. Now that the paper is dry I can cut…
