I also need to check myself again this month because on my last mammogram the radiologist detected something she wants to closely monitor because of my family history. Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a fall layout featuring some gorgeous Momenta textured cardstock that has a dreamy water colour look. The cardstock comes in an 8×8 paper pad with three sheets of each design. The colours will go with almost everything. I put two of the 8×8 cardstock sheets in opposite corners on a sheet of 12×12 cardstock and then filled in the corners with some shimmery Art-C paint and a self adhesive stencil. Because hey, who doesn’t like to play with shimmery paint? This stuff is gorgeous. And the colour stops my heart. I filled in what was left of the gap between the stenciled paint and the cardstock with a piece of May Arts gingham ribbon, and then mounted my photograph. (P.S. Today I am sharing some items I made using the new Jeepers Creepers paper packet from Close To My Heart! I happened to have recently purchased a pencil that came in a little test tube style container from Staples, an office supply store. Part of the proceeds from these pencils go towards “Me To We” (formerly known as Free The Children), which was a program my son got involved in a couple of years ago through the middle school he was attending at the time. Anyways, back to a closer look at my little project… Cute, right? The test tube could be filled with little candies, too. And don’t you just love the little bats? I cut them out using Black Glitter Paper and the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, both from Close To My Heart. Hello everyone – Jayme Loge here with Tuesday with the Team! My kid is a bookworm, and when I saw Bo Bunny’s Beautiful Dreamer paper line, I knew it was meant just for her! Not only do I love the colour scheme, the book and imaginative images are wonderful. I paired the paper with Creative Scrapbooker’s October 2016 sketch: I am currently having a very serious love affair with the Ranger Dylusions paints and so decided to use them to create the background shapes on my layout. I laid down my stencil and applied the paint with a paper towel, ‘ishing’ the circle shape. I used three colors that coordinated with the paper. I added a little of the green around the edges of the paper and lightly smooshed throughout the background for just a bit more texture. Once the paint was dry, I built my layout on top. One…
Every season has a story Back to routine. Back to photo management. Every month I go through my photos and hit “delete”. Typically, this does happen every month but not this summer. While trying to catch up, I ran across these photos from a last minute trip to Cape Spear, Newfoundland – only a twenty minute drive from my home. This story needed to be told right now. I jumped off the couch and got every rolling. In fact, I had already documented this story on a blog post. All I had to do now was put the layout together. This time I started with the story. I copy and pasted the story from the blog post onto an 8.5×11” canvas in Photoshop. I hit print. I printed the photos with a border using my Canon Selphy printer knowing which photos I wanted where.
