Kim here with a quick mixed media tag share! Not too long ago I shared an Instagram story showing two tags I had made using Distress Oxide Sprays and my new Dylusions’ stencils. I had just received some happy mail that included some amazing new releases from Ranger and I couldn’t wait to play. The stencils were new, the Distress Oxides from my growing Oxide ink stash. The tags sat on my desk for a few days before I layered them up with some Dina and Dyan love! I used an image from the first Dina Wakley Media Collage Collective. Newer collectives  have been released this year and are equally as amazing! I used the stencil to add some words & hearts and finished off with some Dylusions Paint Pens to do some mark making. Being asked to join Jackie at Ranger’s CHA media release was pretty exciting until my alarm went off so early that morning. Tired eyes were soon open with excitement at all the fabulous new releases being shared at Ranger’s booth. They had four stations set up, and we got to spend about 20 minutes at each one with Ranger’s Signature Designers; Tim Holtz, Dina Wakley, Dyan Reaveley and Susan Lenart Kazmer…pretty easy to get just a tad star struck! Each proved to be down to earth and all had a wonderful sense of humour…made you love them that much more! First up was Tim Holtz. Lots of buzz at his table with the release of his Oxide Ink Pads, new Distress Crayons sets, Crayon Tin storage, 1 oz. size of Collage Medium, storage jars and Woodgrain Cardstock. The new Oxide Ink Pads are the next generation of Distress Inks, combining…

Connie Nichol and I were really excited about our first morning at CHA, which started early with a breakfast and demo for the media in the Ranger booth. We spent 20 minutes with each of 4 designers….and the first one was Tim Holtz! At the demo tables, we learned all about the new releases for each designer’s line. Tim Holtz has a number of exciting new products. Everyone is excited about the Distress Crayons! Distress Crayons are formulated to achieve vibrant coloring effects on porous surfaces for mixed-media. The smooth water-reactive pigments are ideal for creating brilliant backgrounds, watercoloring, smudge effects and more. Colour directly onto your surface and blend with water then layer with Distress Inks or Stains for more creative possibilities. The crayons are available in 3 sets that coordinate with the Distress Palette. There are 3 new mediums that look amazing, and Tim demonstrated how to use each…
