Vintage Altered Frame by Katelyn Grosart

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing with you my vintage Altered Frame. Spring is definitely here and that means that I’m starting to switch up some of the décor pieces in my home. The jumping off point for my project was the Midnight Garden collection as well as other papers and embellishments from Prima Marketing Inc which I combined with some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and ink from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this vintage Do Everything with Love Altered Frame. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite Springtime beverage as I share with you how I created my altered frame. To start, you’ll need a 6 ½” x 8 ½” frame. Hello everyone! Kim here, happy to be on the Creative Scrapbooker blog again. Have you seen the “FOILED AGAIN” article in the spring issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine? It’s so awesome and so on trend! Foils are everywhere in the scrapbooking industry right now and so many ways to get the look. You can buy papers that are foiled, you can mimic the look with metallic embossing powders, there are lots of foiled stickers available and of course you can buy many products that use foil sheets. My project was inspired by this feature article from the magazine. I love to add foil finishes to my projects with Therm-O-Web products. Fall Break Collection Wall Hanging by Katelyn Grosart

Hey, Creative Scrapbooker Fans, Katelyn Grosart here today. I’m excited to be back on the blog sharing with you a pretty fall themed wall hanging which was inspired by all of the leaves falling here on the west coast and the Fall Break collection by Carta Bella. For the base of my project, I used the Fall Break Collection from Carta Bella as well as products from Emerald Creek Crafts, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Southern Ridge Trading Company, Ranger Ink and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to create my Wool Sweaters, Bonfires and Pumpkin Carvings Wall Hanging. Grab a cup of your favourite Fall beverage and I will walk you through on how you can recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, you’ll need two Pumpkin Leaves from Southern Ridge Trading Company.
