Our design team member, Kerry Engel has been playing with the Quilted Poinsettia Frame Die by Impression Obsession and I am loving the results.ย  Here is one of her creations. She cut the die out onto our heavyweight Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock. The base of the card was created using some Therm O Web Gina K. Designs cardstock. Kerry Colored the quilted poinsettia frame die using Amy Tangerine watercolors by American Crafts. For the inside of the card, Kerry used another Impression Obsession die and colored it using Ranger Wendy Vecchi embossing powder. Kerry adhered everything to her card using Therm O Web iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive and Sticky Strip Runner. The results are GORGEOUS! Want to see more of Kerry’s creations? Happy Sunday everyone! Kerry Engelย here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog creating a shiny SHAKER card. Iโ€™m still relatively new to stamping and card making. I tend to go all in and try to use as many products as I can. Thankfully, Therm O Web understands and always has amazing corresponding products that feed my need for โ€œlots of detailsโ€.ย  Their Gina K. Designs Premium cardstock has been a game-changer for me; itโ€™s smooth, high-quality finish has helped to elevate my stamping and embossingโ€ฆand then they have foil – how did I ever create without foil before? Here is how I created this very happy, shiny shaker card: Step 1- STAMP Stamp the sentiment, โ€œThanks Snow Muchโ€. Stamp and emboss snowflakes with Gina K.ย Designsย Baby, itโ€™s Cold Outside stamps. I used Clearsnap, Top Boss, ink and silver embossing powder. Step 2 – FOIL Using a laminator add Gina K. Designs…

Hi, Connie Nichol here today with a selection of shimmery foiled Christmas cards I made with Therm O Web Foil-Mates and Fancy Foils from Gina K Designs. I am new to the idea of foiling, and I have to tell you that I am in LOVE. Although I was initially intimidated by the idea, it is so simple to create these beautiful cards. You just place the foil of your choice over a pre-printed toner sheet (the Foil-Mates), run it through a laminator and the magic happens. Here are a few cards that I whipped up – once you start laminating foils onto patterns, it’s hard to stop! Just add a bit of ribbon or a couple of flowers and you’re good to go. You can even use the used foil for a card background as I did in the last card. The used foils are too pretty to throw…

Seriously! Have you tried foiling yet? I did! I LOVE itโ€ฆ Makes me think of changing the words to Kate Perryโ€™s โ€œI Kissed a Girlโ€ songโ€ฆsing with me! I tried to foilโ€ฆ and I liked it! I think you should try it too, but weโ€™ll let Kate stick to song writing! LOL! Check out these SIMPLE foiled cards! Now, Iโ€™ll share some eye candy and explain a bit of whatโ€™s going on in each photo. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for joining me on my foil initiation. Itโ€™s super fun and honestly easy! Give it a try and share your projects with us!
