Mermaid with Tracy McLennon

Hello everyone Tracy McLennon here today sharing my Mermaid layout. This photo is just a perfect match for this stunning Heartfelt Creations collection – Under The Sea.I created simple layers with these stunningly vibrant patterned papers. I used my flower shaping tools from Heartfelt Creations to shape the floral images that I fussy cut from patterned paper.I then added Prills using my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Dual tip glue pen, for a tiny bit of texture. Aloha featuring Heartfelt Creations and Stabilo

Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I’ve loved plumeria since I first went to Hawaii in (cough, cough) 1974. I just couldn’t resist Heartfelt Creations Plumeria and their Tropical Paradise Collection. It just makes me smile. It reminds of Hawaiian leis, beaches and Don Ho’s “Tiny Bubbles” (it was 1974, remember?). To create the flowers I stamped one set in pink (and one in orange) Clearsnap ColorBox ink. I left everything on the stamp positioner so that I could stamp on top and then emboss once I was done coloring. I embossed with Clearsnap ColorBox clear embossing powder.I coloured the stamps with Stabilo Carbothello chalk pastel pencils. I blended the colours with a blending nib. I did the same thing with the Parrot. Simple Pleasures with Corina Finley

Hello Everyone! Corina Finley here with you today to share my ‘Simple Pleasures’ Coffee themed layout featuring Heartfelt Creations and Southern Ridge Trading Co. chipboard. I created this page to capture my Sunday morning ritual. On Sundays, my oldest son brings me my first cup of coffee of the day in bed! I get to start my day by laying back and relaxing with my dog Kuma. He thinks that the king size bed really belongs to him and sleeps whichever direction he wants! I like to start my projects by collecting the supplies that I think I will need from around my studio and having them on my work surface. I do still have to grab other items as my design idea changes but I find by doing this it cut back on getting distracted.
