Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Kim Gowdy here with a simple but fun idea, that we have visited before. I often like to find ways to bring trends into the stash I already have if possible. There is no denying that adult colouring is a huge trend! Here is my twist from my own scrapbook stash. I made these cards by stamping images from my Impression Obsession stamps onto Core’dinations Glitter Paper. Use a multi-surface ink like Clearsnap ColorBox Chalk Inks, I used Charcoal. Let it dry…it WILL take longer than on regular paper…be patient. Once it’s dry I grabbed my Chameleon Pens and coloured away…it was so fun! Hello, Connie Nichol here with some cards I created with Impression Obsession stamps and dies, Chameleon Pens and Core’dinations cardstock. I only meant to make one card, but I was having so much fun stamping and colouring that I ended up with a few slightly different versions. My philosophy is that while you’ve got all the supplies scattered about, keep creating!! It’s an awesome feeling to have a bunch of cards prepared and ready to go when you need them. Faux Watercolour Loveliness and Pigment Ink Oh, the wonders, versatility and unending twisted ways I can play with pigment ink. I am sharing with you an altered page that is a “jump off” from a class that I taught at CHA in Anaheim in the Clearsnap booth. The class was presented as a shape card but of course what was most important was “not the project” but the ideas and the techniques we used to take white cardstock and turn it into something “marvelous”. Yes, this was white cardstock when I began and those lovely, wispy, very watercolor looking branches in the background have been stamped with ColorBox, pigment ink by Clearsnap. Yes, I am combining my pigment ink with “Top Boss” clear embossing ink so the stamped images have that “watercolor feel”. At times as I am creating this look it is almost like I am erasing the image…

If you are looking for a product that you can use in “assorted ways” – a product you can stamp with, emboss with, do resist techniques, use to add color to an image with instead of markers, use with stencils and more – a product that you can happily create with, that is the most lightfast of all the stamping mediums out there and allows you to work from light color to dark color and back to light again. By now I am guessing you know I am referring to pigment ink. It tends to be my “go to medium” because it is simply so versatile AND then instead of buying more & more & more product I can happily buy more stamps and more stencils (yes, I may have a few of these) to entertain my “creative urges”.
