You can create a bullet journal, use them for writing, note-taking, sketching, mixed media, take them to crafty classes to name a few uses. HI Friends, welcome to the Creative Scrapbooker Blog today! Its Karan Gerber here to host the blog for you today and I have a simple winter, scrapbook layout to share with you using papers from the Kaisercraft Wonderland Paper Collection. I know sometimes we want to fit as many photos as we can on a layout, but often times we are able to capture a special moment and that photo deserves a full page. This photo is of my friend’s grandson Boston, I am so grateful she let me scrapbook him. To start off, I used the Wonderland snowfall for my background, cutting out a one-inch frame all the way around and I matted an 11 .75 x 11.75 dark blue cardstock on top. Realizing this color would be too dark for my layout I decided to add another cardstock mat on top of that measuring 11×11. My cut out from the background…
Mixed Media is all about trusting the process. It’s always messy in the middle and we have to let the creativity take over. Nicole here and I am sooooo excited to play with Prima. For this tutorial, I am using Finnabair. This is my first time exploring the textures, shimmer, and detail of these fabulous mediums and paints. I started by applying some torn book pages with 3D Gloss Gel Transparent making sure to apply an even coat over the paper. Add a layer with the Offset Dots Clear Stamp using permanent ink, Ranger ink Archival Jet Black. Add a layer of texture with Plaster Paste and mix in a little mint- green Patina Effect Paste to tint your Plaster Paste. Layer the 6×9 Passiflora Stencil and apply the Plaster Paste in an even layer. While the Plaster Paste was drying I cut “trust” with Sizzix XL Typo Lower die. Adhere…

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Have you ever had a layout appear almost by magic? It happened to me! Here’s the details: I created this layout. Supplies used- Patterned paper, glittlered chipboard; Jen Hadfield Stencil: Donna Downey Ink and Embossing Paste: Ranger Chipboard: Southern Ridge Trading Co (painted with InkaGold by Viva Decor) Acrylic Letters: Pink Paislee Stickers: 7 gypsies Acrylic Tiles: Harmonie It was full on Jayme style with lots of mess and a bit of chaos going on! I had ink and discarded paper spread all around me. I proclaimed the layout complete and set about cleaning up my mess. I lifted off the first layer, and to my wondering eyes, a second layout was just laying there amongst the scraps. I love it when scrapendipity is in the air! I glued it together, found a picture and chose a title. I love the way the background paper kind…
