Hi everyone! Jodi Wilton here today to show aย quick celebration card using Coreโ€™dintationsย  ColorCore Cardstock and Sizzix Dies.ย  I love having birthday cards at hand, and by combining the fun bright colours of Spotted by Coreโ€™dinations ColorCore Cardstock and the fun ice cream die by Sizzix- a fun and fast card can be created!ย  Here is the card that I came up with: The card base was also Coreโ€™dinations ColorCore Cardstockย and then added twoย  layersย  of patterned paper (Carta Bella).ย  I sewed around each piece of patterned paper for extra detail. Finally I cut out the ice cream pieces and the banner. I added some distress ink in a similar colour to each of the pieces to really bring out the spots on the cardstock.ย  Finally I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squaresย to give the ice cream some dimension.ย ย  Here is another look: Supplies: Coreโ€™dinations ColorCore…

Hello everyone Christy Riopel here on the blog today! I am all about creating layers these days. Stamps are a great way to add layers without adding bulk to your page. This Magenta Crafty Secrets Swirl is one of the most used stamps I own. It so versatile that I have yet to run out of uses for it. I love how it peaks out from under my stickers. Supplies: Magenta stamps, Fancy Pants Designs patterned paper and stickers, May Arts Ribbon, gesso, Clearsnap ColorBox Chalk Ink, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L,ย  Photo by Allison Orthner Have a wonderful week everyone! Desiree Saskiw here! Iย must admit that I had taken a stamping hiatus for some time, but this fun Magenta โ€œSavvy Symbolsโ€ stamp set inspired me to pull of the ink and embossing powders and get to work! I have always been drawn to using circles as part of my paper creations so this birthday card was no exception. I enjoyed the contrast that was created between the use soft lines in the circles and hearts, with the straight lines of the arrows. The number stamps were a fun addition; counting up to the Happy 10th birthday for my niece Jaeanna! SUPPLIES: Magenta stamps, Clearsnap ink, DCWV patterned paper, May Arts Ribbon, Stampin’ Up! embossing powder, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D foam squares and tape runner. Happy Stamping

Hello everyone! ย It’s Kelly here to share with you a fun Valentine card I designed using DCWV’s new Vintage Collector line. Here are the DCWV products that I used: These new DCWV cards make it so quick and easy to customize your own designs. I started with the card base and then added to the interior. I trimmed this piece of paper from the mat stack to fit inside. I chose this “Love” label from the Vintage Collector Tag Stack and added a piece of May Arts ribbon.. Thenย I decided to make a pocket for it using the matching Vintage Collector card stock. I drew faux stitching with a ruler around the pocket edges. I cut out the [heart] U image from a piece of paper in the Vintage Collector Mat Stack and adhered it to the centre of the pocket. And that is that! ย Pretty easy! Now…

I love submission calls! Often when I am out of creative ideas, a page call is just the thing to spark ideas! For the Spring issue of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine (PICK YOURS UP TODAY) there is a fun loving article for Tye Dye you won’t want to miss! For the TIE DYE page call, my first thought was how to create the look using products I have. The more I thought of it the more I realized that TIE DYE was more than just a technique, it evoked a feeling. A feeling of free spirit, happy times, freedom and just โ€œchillingโ€ with your friends! So these cards evolvedโ€ฆ For the TIE DYE technique I used Ranger Distress Ink Refills and Perfect Pearl Mists. I chose these inks because they are very reactive with water or water based products such as the Pearl Mists, which allow them to flow, move and…
