Today we welcome guest blogger Laurel Seabrook from British Columbia, who will share some of her designs using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Hi everyone, I am Laurel Seabrook and I have been on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L design team for a couple of months now. I am an avid paper crafter, I love making cards, scrapbooks and altered art. One thing that is common in all of them is that they need adhesive, and I love the assortment that Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L offers. Today I have a couple of cards to share. I teach grade one and I like to give the students a handmade card on their birthday. The other day I used up my last card so I decided I had better get busy building up that stash. My normal style is very layered with lots of bits. However, grade ones are not the most careful…

One of the best parts of going to a crop is getting to play with our friends’ supplies. Last March, on the first night of our weekend crop at Pigeon Lake, I spied this row ofΒ Aladine Izinks Pigment Ink distributed by Clearsnap. That night I dreamed aboutΒ ClearnspΒ Izinks all night. I literally dreamed about them. Dripping them actually! I was so excited to get my hands on the Izink pigment inks that I woke up before everyone else. I used Canadian Scrapbooker Super StockΒ (CSS) as my base, and as I wasn’t sure how the Izink would drip I used gesso on my second page. The first page was naked. Newport Beach layout: Izink on Naked CSS I’m not really sure what verb best describes the action required to place Izink on your page. It’s not really a drop. It’s a mashup of a plop and a dab… itβs…
Featuring Aladine Izink PigmentΒ inks distributed by ClearsnapΒ and Quietfire Design stamps Hello, Connie here impatiently waiting for the snow to melt, the mud to dry and the garden to grow. This layout was totally inspired by my stash of fake flowers.Β I was trying to declutter my basement and gathered up all the artificial flowers that I have collected over the years.Β Most of these were purchased from Dollarama or from the clearance aisle at Michaels and Walmart stores, but have largely turned into dust collectors since I rarely useΒ flowers on layouts these days. Before I passed these posies on to their next home, I thought I would do one more layout with them for old time’s sake.Β I started with a piece of Canadian Scrapbooker Superstock and made my own really simple customized paper by adding a rainbow of colour with Izink inks. Β The Izinks are manufactured by Aladine…

Β Easy Peasy Cute and Squeezy! π Supplies used: Β Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine; Lori Whitlock cut file; Bazzill Basic Paper cardstock; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares. Hi everybody, Connie here with my take on the March sketch from the Canadian Scrapbooker It’s a Sketchy ChallengeΒ .Β Β I stayed pretty true to the sketch this time around and used it to feature a favourite photo of my boys and I on a vacation in the Rocky Mountains a few years ago.Β Β Heartfelt Creations has a beautiful paper collection called βCelebrate the Journeyβ that went perfectly with my picture.Β The papers in this line come in soft hues of teal, pink, green and brown and feature subtle travel themed patterns such as words, script, maps, bicycles and balloons.Β Matching stamps and dies are also available. Inspired by the flourishes on the March sketch, I reached for a Heartfelt Creations flourish backgrounds stamp and added some subtle blue touches to the page behind the photo mat. For embellishments, I just cut out piecesβfrom another piece of patterned paper in…
