Happy Monday my friends!
These cuties.. right? The minute I saw this little fox, I had to have the Foxy Friends stamp set and matching fox builder punch. Little did I know at the time that this bundle could create more than just a fox!
The critters created in these two cards were made from this punch. And believe me, there’s many other cuties you can make.
Both of these cards were created with babies in mind. It must be the cuteness factor. Often when I have a shower or there’s a new baby arriving, I am scrambling to make a card. Not now. Not today.
I started out by checking out the Stampin’ Up! website to see how the fox was supposed to be built. I stamped and punched in different colours until I was happy with my fox. This is kind of my process for any builder style stamp set.
As always, I find it difficult not to make a card without the basic pearls. This time I added it to the garland around the fox.
Once I created the fox and continued to play, I wanted to create a raccoon. I also thought it would be cute if this little critter wore a tie from the Baby’s First framelits collection. Side note: Perhaps glasses would have been a nice addition?
The new Stampin’ Up! catalog also released an Outdoor Adventure bundle, which includes camping and outdoors elements. It’s the perfect pairing with this set.
I mean really… those mountains and clouds? So cute.
Thanks to everyone that dropped by last month and entered to win the Watercolour Wishes card kit! Congrats to Bunny Dobbie for winning this prize! Please email me at inthecatcave@hotmail.com with your mailing address so I can get that out to you!
See you next month! If you don’t have the new 2016-2017 catalog that was released last month, contact your local demonstrator to get one or drop me a line at inthecatcave@hotmail.com. I’d love to be your demonstrator if you are living in Canada and are interested in Stampin’ Up! products.
